Lay it on heavily
I used about half a box in a fairly narrow band and I've had about 10 plants come up. The 'carpet' has a lot of holes in it. If I had it to do over, I would have applied it much thicker in areas where I wanted it. Anyhow, be very generous with this seed in areas where you really want it.

might be Saw Dust!
P. Norris-Millers review was hilarious because I am looking for reviews after planting this seed myself! The box says .88% seed & 99.12% inert matter π what does that mean?? It DID look exactly like sawdust though πππ SO we shall see!!π

do not see growth after 6 weeks in full sun or shade...
I have watered the areas real well which I think the ground is loving, but I dont see anything growing but a little greenery. I'm not as optimistic as I was previously but would still love to see something take shape to fill in soil. :D

Another plant quite finicky where it's planted and how much sun - water and food it gets.Of 6 boxes planted, had various results. All were feed / watered / cared for.> Supposed to cover 25 sq feet - notice that two boxes are in the one square foot cement flower pot. After two months => 1 box in 16" flower pot around geraniums - in full sun - 24" long vines ---2 photo> 1 box in 16" flower pot (partial shade) around geraniums - was one inch high, but roots got disrupted when watered, they never re-rooted / died --- photo> 2 boxes in 12" dia cement pot in full sun - doing OK but only 7" to 8" tall --- photo> 2 boxes in full sun flower bed - complete no show.Learning curve = and reason for 5 stars. We planted 9 different American Seed kinds / boxes of mixes, kept track of what did well - where planted & how tall. This is one we'd try again next year.In general - the flowers planted in flower pots did much better then in bedsThe American Seeds Mixes are very finicky = the majority proved a waste of time and $.
