Fantasy Towns: 50 Towns and Cities for Fantasy Tabletop Role-Playing Games (RPG Town Maps)

Not bad for what it is.
Not bad for what it is - a decent collection of towns and cities with a little lore and some adventure hooks.I know some are looking for much more detail, but keep on mind the Village of Homlet book a couple dozen pages, and it's just one village. 50 towns in 100 pages is guaranteed to NOT be that. My only complaint is that the maps are pretty useless. They look like any other pregen map made with something like Donjon, and I personally would have liked two pages of lore/stats for each town rather than a page and a pointless generic map. That said, some folks like the maps - to each his/her own I suppose.

A great resource
I’ve heard mixed reviews on this but took the risk. The lack of in depth detail works for me to be honest, as this feels more like a blueprint/foundation to which you simply start with and get the inspiration from to expand and build on. I like the summaries for each town and a quick breakdown of economics. It’s free to be fleshed out further by anyone using them.I’m giving 5 stars for exceeding my expectations, and it is well put together imo and it functions as a great resource tool to put together cities and towns in a hurry; always able to flesh it out further to make it unique to your story or campaign.

Great World Building Tool!
This book was quite helpful. I have been building a campaign for a little while and this book helped fill in the blanks for some towns I needed. Sure, anyone can do this themselves, but it was very helpful to have things like the attractions and adventure ideas readily available. I've changed some details bjt this helped make the preparation easy.

Quick fast easy world building.
I love this book, wow great detail , story line ideas , town detail commerce politics, % of what races live in the city or town. And more

A list of various towns and cities.
Has a list of towns and cities mainly but also has a few villages. Has minimal specifics but gives the GM a few hints and ideas that you can fill out. A fairly good asset for a time limited GM.
