LEDHIVE 4W G9 LED Bulb - Warm White - 370LM Super Bright - Equivalent to 40W

I have to say I am very impressed with the light output from this LED G9 bulb, as an engineer having worked in the lighting industry on LED products and there for knowing what I should expect to see for a 40W equivalent I have to say that this product performs as stated in ad.

bulb gets very hot hotter than my other bulbs. don’t be mislead by the wird Hive in the name. these are not the type that link to a hive hub

The product itself works fine, good and powerful warm light. I give just 3 stars instead of 5 because 1 bulb out of 3 got faulty after 3 months only.I'm buying now a new one and I hope I won't need to buy more in the next few months.

Nice warm white output when mounted horizontally in an IKEA short stem flexi head desk light. The disadvantage is that its greater diameter - at least 6mm means it can't be installed in the existing aluminium reflector. I have removed the reflector and sufficient light for my purposes is directed downward , the rest gives a nice translucent effect through the top of the white plastic housing which does have ventilation slots also no need for the safety glass now which would inhibit the cooling airflow past the "bulb". I might consider surgery on the reflector at a later date if more light needed downwards

These are not suitable for the Hive systems so don’t waste your money if that is what your looking for. They will not marry up. The seller told me that it is an error made by Amazon that it says Hive bulbs.

Give a warm light, reasonable price

Rubbish, stopped working after 2 minutes.
