How to Power Tune MGB 4-Cylinder Engines: New (SpeedPro Series)

The book itself is great, the person that was supposed to receive it still really enjoys it. The only problem I have is the fact it was supposed to arrive on December 24th, and I FINALLY received it on February 14th, despite trying to cancel and get a refund. I don’t know if it was the sellers fault or the shipping handlers though, and since I received it I guess all is well.

Peter Burgess has given a clear account of how engines work with great detail and easily understood by an MG enthusiast like myself who has limited technical understanding.Not only easy to read but a style of writing wit humour and clearly a vast experience of the MGB engine. I use books like this for teaching, I teach automotive engineering and the these publications are extremely well written with fantastic pictures and diagrams seem to let my learners ( in some cases of limited abilities) understand how things work, they translate this in to real life when at work and the results of the feedback from their employers is encouraging

Worth the money

Must have manual for anybody who wants to get the most from their 4 cylinder MG engine.Doesn't go into ultra big bores, conversions or supercharging, (a pity because I'm currently supercharging an 1860cc), but for stock normally aspirated engines its packed with info.

Great book, read this, then take your head along to Peter for a little bit of magic to be applied. The book explains all you need to know, particularly how to recommission you head after being worked over. Visit Peters workshop and you will see that you are paying for traditional engineering work, not workshop bling.
