Don't Work For Me . . . .
I had a terrible case of plantar fasciitis in my 20s. This was before the internet, and I eventually discovered what was causing my pain when looking through a catalog of special foot products. I overpronate badly and was wearing shoes with no arch support. Soon, I got special insoles the size of these NuSole ones, only they were much thinner and made of much harder material. They worked, too. My plantar fasciitis went away. I bought running shoes with excellent arch support from then on, and wear nothing but such shoes, unless I need to dress up. Only, the support in those shoes wears down, and I can't afford to buy running shoes every few months. That's where insoles come in. They can extend the life of running shoes when you overpronate. How well are these NuSole insoles working? They are not really that good in my case. First, they are too large to use in the running shoes I most want to use them in. Second, although they fit in a second pair of shoes I wanted to use them in, they don't really offer the type of support I need. There is so much cushioning in the heel that it elevates the back of my feet, and thus causes additional pressure on the front of my feet. That can lead to both foot and lower leg problems. Third, the arch support isn't quite right. In my opinion, these insoles are more for those who need heel cushioning to relieve heel pain. Because, without the right arch support, plantar fasciitis is not going to go away.

Metatarsal support bump causes more metatarasal pain
I should have read the description better. If I'd seen these had that bump at the front (the dark purple spot in the picture), I would not have purchased. I'll stick to my Dr. Scholl's PRO pain relief orthotics (they make them for women but I don't see those here) https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Scholls-Relief-Orthotics-Arch/dp/B004MXRD60 Just a tip for anyone who has been told by the podiatrist that you cannot wear slippers. I use heavy duty double stick duct tape to adhere the insoles to my slippers. The slippers need to have a smooth cottony surface, not fuzzy or polyester or the tape won't stick. I still have to redo it every few months but I find slippers more comfortable than shoes around the house as I have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur on the bottom of my heel.

Plantar Pain Relief
I experienced pain along the back of the heel and rear side of the ankle rather than the sole of the foot as I understand most people do. As it was explained by my physician, this is all related to the same fascia which runs along the underside of the foot and up the back of the heel. She said it was like a fat man stretching out a hammock. Lol. The pain was the result of weakened support in the hammock and before the pain would subside, the hammock needed a chance to regain its shape. I spend most of the day on my feet in steel-toed work boots on hard surface flooring. I am lax in doing any therapeutic stretching or roller massage as instructed. Thankfully, I have found relief just by adding these insoles to my boots. I would definitely recommend these!

You Better Hope Your Shoes Are Big Enough
These insoles, which I purchased to replace some very worn ones from the podiatrist, are FANTASTIC. They are, however, completely different than I was expecting. They are very cushy and thick. I am an ICU nurse and I’m on my feet all day and I also suffer from plantar fasciitis. I have Danskos that I wear daily that my old inserts made mildly less painful. These new pillowy inserts have made a huge difference in comfort and have decreased my foot pain. Be aware of one important thing with these: your shoes need to be at least one-half size bigger to accommodate these. My shoes were already sized up and these take up every spare millimeter of space in them, to the point where they are almost too tight. I do recommend these inserts, just know ya shoes gonna be tighter than usual!

Great shoe support for PF!!
This insole (along with specific exercises) is definitely helping with the rehabbing of my foot with Plantar Faciitis. On the first day of use I was able to go for a walk in my shoes with little pain. On the 4th walk no pain at all.I highly recommend!4 for comfort because it does take some getting used to, but it’s worth the awkwardness for a few days to get back to wearing normal shoes and exercising again!!!

The high inner leg arch support
High inner Leg arch support. My feet turn outwards now so is opposite what I needed. However, it is a very supportive product for inner arch and 3/4 of foot as described. I’d like a bit more spring out of the heel. A cushioned but flat feel.

Plantillas para fascitis plantar
Son muy cómodos y no se notan con zapatos medio abiertos porque la parte que se ve es negra. Compraré más de estos en lugar de otros de colores llamativos.
