Interesting tale with an oddly romantic style
Ordinarily, I don't really feel the genre of male pregnancy and birth is remotely satisfying. It is simply too much suspension of belief. There is never a decent explanation of how pregnancy could occur in a normal male body and no explanation of how birth occurs without surgical intervention. At least, there is a somewhat feeble attempt to explain everything as magic although nothing more specific. I've no idea what physical changes are manifested beyond the swollen belly. That's my biggest complaint. I suppose if I am willing to read about dragons and humans mating, I just have to get past biological irrationality.

rare
It is interesting that Matthew is an paleontologist and looking for work and it turns out that he himself is a rare find. Reese, when he finds out that sacred omegas may not be extinct as he has been lead to believe, then has a dilemma. He finds and is attracted to Matthew. But can he claim him? Can he keep him safe from the folks trying to make what he had believed - that they are extinct - come true? There is intrigued that along with the attraction between these men makes this a page turner.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Just when you think you are an average everyday man.
Matthew graduated college looking for a job in paleontology, celebrating getting a job at a dig with a friend. Reese, dragon meeting with a friend learned that Sacred Omegas who can carry dragon babies may not be extinct. The Templars are the bad guys hunting dragons and sacred omegas.Reese follows Matthew to Texas, then saves his life when men(Tamplars) try to kill him. Can Reeese keep Matthew safe if he's a sacred omega? Riveting drama. Great characters. Hope there are more. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Mr. Bates does it again
Interesting new world created where omegas are almost impossible to find. Hot dragons trying to find them while dodging dragon hunters! Who wouldn’t love that.Could use more cheesecake. Can’t wait for book 2.

Dragons are real
Love this new series. How do you convince someone that dragons exist and that they can't tell anyone? Mathew and Reese have their work cut out for them. Good book! Looking forward to reading the next.

A wonderful book to read
A really enjoyable book to read, it really was. I have only just discovered these two Authors and to have them co write a book.. exceptional i thought.Mathew cant seem to get a job anywhere when out of the blue a proffessor asks him to come to a site to look what he has discovered. But on getting there he sees Reece again. Reece is a dragon, and hes trailing Mathew to protect him seeing that Mathew is a special Omega that can brred with dragons and produce children. An attempt on Mathews life by the Templars is tried but Reece soon puts stop to that. But these two men are mates, but what they are not prepared for a pregancy, Deception and Templars, they thought they were safe.5 stars for a wonderful book and im looking forward now to reading book 2
