I love the sound of running water and would love to have a huge, three-tiered fountain in my yard. But fantasy and reality are two different things. I have a smaller wooden deck, so only a small fountain will fit.I spent a few evenings looking at fountains from all different internet sites. What I like about Amazon's site in particular are the video reviews; I could see AND hear them working. Some fountains I discarded because they sounded tinny. Others were too big. But this little Bird fountain was Goldilocks: It was JUST right! Although one reviewer made me question my decision because his leaked, I hit the "buy" button anyway and I'm glad I did!All was not great at first. It came in a box which had obviously been returned. The papers were crumpled and the tape was askew. Plus, it didn't work because I couldn't connect the pump's tube to the bird. So, I returned it and required that only a brand new, never opened replacement box be sent. Amazon complied.My husband assembled it without a problem. I bought a bottle of "Birdbath and Fountain Maintenance" from Amazon and added a capful to the water. We added water when the level dropped. Every once in a while, my husband would clean out the whole shebang and start again with fresh water.Once, it did plug up and the water barely trickled out of it. We noticed it was full of rust. I used a long, skinny, pipe cleaner type brush (used to clean out clogged drains) to unplug it. It took a few tries of pushing and pulling, but I eventually got all of the gook out and it ran perfectly after that.I love this little fountain! It's soothing. It's unique. It's fun.

I gave this a one star rating otherwise I wouldn't be able to write a review. The concept and straight out of the box it's a really cool piece but the bird is defective, the water leaks out of the body & begins pooling up on the ledge and it will continue until you have a mess. There's not way to fix because the bird is metal and soldered, it's poor craftsmanship obviously not pretested before box for sale. Save your money and time on this one.

Bought this fountain for a from porch birdbath. We have been through many, many pumps, solar and electric.This one is so so simple to set up. Works immediately. No need to fiddle with the flow. Be sure to place the little basket shield so there is no splashing out. We added some rocks on the basket on order to get a trickling sound, otherwise it is absolutely silent. Best Thing about this ( besides the fact that it is a quaint folk art copper which is lovely)....The Included Remote Control! No more leaving it on all night because too lazy or cold to go outside and unplug. So easy!

The media could not be loaded. Love this little metal fountain. Trying hard to make it work out.But it seems to leak from inside the metal bird where the fountain tube is. The water that’s splattering makes it LOOK like it’s leaking, so I’m not sure if it’s leaking AND splattering? Or just typical fountain splattering. I’m still playing with different ideas to help keep the water inside the bowl.It comes with a screen that fits inside the base to help deflect the water from splattering. Doesn’t help. It also has a water flow button on the side of the filter. I removed the screen and added pebbles (Walmart) to the inside base. It doesn’t help with the splatter either, but does look aesthetically better than the screen.I love the rustic look! Will continue working on keeping the water inside and checking for any leaks only because I really like the look. Just wouldn’t use indoors or or anything with fabric.

The media could not be loaded. Have had this for 2 years now. So cute, did have a issue with the pump unnatching a few times. Taped it with Gorilla waterproof tape and it works perfectly now! I did spray paint it to match my decor a bit better!

This little bird fountain seems to have weekly problems with stopping. I've tried to place the tubing in further so it doesn't detach from the pump; but it falls out and stops running.

Took less than 5 minutes to put together. Very quiet. Small,, but nice water sound.

The media could not be loaded. My wife wanted an outdoor fountain for her garden and this was perfect...for under 2 weeks. I have the pump on a timer running about 8 hours per day. For the first few days it ran great but now it just drips. I've cleaned the pump intake with a toothbrush and run pipe cleaners through the tubes and bird with zero improvement. It kills me that I have to spend extra for a new pump already. Cannot recommend.
