Seems okay. Pretty easy to test with a lighter.Thankfully have a socket near the ceiling to plug it in.

Peace of mind
I purchased this product for peace of mind just like a fire alarm better to safe than sorry, I viewed a few of these before I purchased this particularly one as I was pleased with the specifications and other people's opinions

Does the job
I bought this for my 90 year old Mum who accidentally left her gas hob on one day. It works like a dream. My only negative would be that the instructions are very small print. Otherwise fantastic.

Do not buy this product - doesn't work!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.We purchased this product as we thought there was a slight tinge of a gas smell. We followed the instructions and it detected nothing. We later got a gas technician out as I wasn't convinced and we did infact have a gas leak!!!! This is dangerous as if we had left it any longer apparently the cooker could have blown out! Very dangerous!!!! I wouldn't have given it even 1 star but had no lower option!

not good
doesn't work. touch and go . if it eithen goes off . i tested mine over the gas stove and it didnt go off . so no good . i never bothered sending it back as i had it for ages sitting in the room before i decided to test it . realizing it was too late. dont waste your money
