1PCS Jewelry Tool Split Ring Opener Plier

I used this tool to hold open double loop jump rings to put on dog collars. Before using this tool as I was trying to put them on they would shoot out of my fingers and fly across the room...I'm still finding the stray rings that the vacuum didn't get!! This held the loop open and allowed me to use my other hand to force the loop on the dog collar onto the jump ring. The tool doesn't open the ring wide so you have to kind of twist the tool in between the loops to get them to open wider, but once you get the hang of it, it goes very fast. Saved me a ton of time, frustration, and more lost jump rings. Thumbs up.

I'm picky about the tools I use in designing jewelry so I was hesitant to take a risk on this inexpensive split ring opener. Money is tight this month and this tool was needed immediately so I basically had to take a chance on it. What a great surprise when it arrived yesterday and I saw this tool's excellent quality! It's even better than the more expensive tool I've used for years! Never again! I'll order another one soon just in case this particular tool sells out .So...please be nice and don't buy all of them first! : )

For the price you can't beat them. They aren't super high quality, but they aren't exactly put under immense pressure opening a split ring so it's not an issue really. Overall they get the job done at a fraction of the price of a higher quality item.

I got these to use on fishing jigs. They are so much better than the ones that said they were for fishing jigs. No idea if it works on other items but if you are into fixing or making your own jugs get this for when you need to work with split rings.

Been using these for the past few days to help with making beaded bracelets and it's a great tool for opening split rings. They are comfortable, work well and have made working with split rings a lot easier. Would recommend them for sure!

So glad I got a pair of these! They make working with the little key ring style jump rings a breeze. No need to break your nails!The handles are comfortable and easy to grip. The tooth is just the right size to open the ring up, without damaging it. Hold it in place and slide the jump ring onto your piece. Easy easy!Save yourself a lot of frustration and get a pair.

when I took it out of the packaging it was sticky and the handles had oil hand prints on them and the tool itself had oil on it. I tried to clean it a bit but it feels gross to the touch. I have not yet used them so I cannot comment on their effectiveness.

Junk flimsy will not open rings unless you use other tools with it, what’s the point.
