I fill her bowl in the morning with dry food; if there is some left in the evening, I will pour a bit on, and the remainder is gone in the morning. Also, is she is being finicky and won't eat, this method works very well. I have been using this product for 11 years. I originally bought it at PetSmart, but several tears ago they stopped carrying it. I looked online, but was only able to get it from one company, and had to order a dozen at a time, so I would always give a few away so shelf life would not be an issue. Now Amazon has it, and I am thrilled to order only a couple of bottles at a time.Now...is it useful as a supplement? Hard to say...I personally take Probiotics, so I got this product for my cat. She certainly seems more productive in the litter box department when I use this regularly. Sometimes I think I should take it myself!

It made my cat's stool really soft. 2 tsp is a lot to give in one time.

My vet said my cat had issues with gas and I also knew she was having digestive problems. Recently, she was on antibiotics for a UTI and I wanted to make sure she was getting enough good bacteria. My vet offered probiotics, but it was $23/ month, more than I was willing to spend. I bought this product due to the reviews and I am very happy with the results. Her coat became very soft and shiny, no gas, and very little digestive issues. I started with 1/2 teaspoon, every other day, and now we are up to 1 teaspoon every other day. The only problem I have, is that she won't eat it with food. I am carefully using a small syringe. She doesn't like it but I feel the benefits out way my cat's taste buds.

I took in a malnourished cat who had very stinky stools and extremely bad breath, so I was looking for something to help with her health and to help with the odors. I put this in with her wet food in the morning and she doesn't have any issues eating it that way. Between eating healthy food and being given this supplement, her litter-box leavings aren't atrocious anymore, and her breath has improved as well. Her overall health has dramatically improved and this has been of assistance.

I have used this for years mixing a little twice a day into the food of my 2 Persian cats. Prior to this one had chronic liquid diarrhea and the other vomited several times a day. This has ended the diarrhea and cut the vomiting to once every 2 weeks. I never let them go without this product now. I only buy the dark bottle not the white!!

I first tried this product on the advice of a friend who has studied a fair bit on pet nutrition. My cat was having urinary problems and this seemed to help alleviate them a bit more than medication alone. More recently my parents' cat was having stomach troubles, and I gave them some of what I had left over to try. She's doing great on it and they insisted I order some more.

I used this when my cat had megacolon. She did well on this and a few other supplements, she typically wouldn't eat her food if something was added to it but she didn't mind this at all. I was out of it one morning and she didn't want to eat her food....my cat apparently really like the taste.
