I've started using this phone mount in rental cars when I travel, and it's perfect.I've used a  Magnetic Vent Hook phone holder  for several years. It worked great until I ran into some rental cars where the vents were weird enough that it wouldn't work. I bought this suction cup mount, and it has worked every time. From what I can tell, as long as the car has a windshield, I'll be fine.The magnet is very strong. It holds my iPhone 15 Pro with its case firmly. In all the times I've used it, the phone never shook free of the magnet, and the mount stayed stuck to the windshields until I chose to remove it. And when the suction cup gets dirty all it takes is a quick rinse and slightly less quick air dry to make it good as new.As final pluses, the mount is compact and fits easily in my carry-on, and it's cheap enough that if it should get left behind, it's not that big a deal to replace.And FWIW, I get that most cars these days allow me to connect even my iPhone to the built-in display. However, the last thing I want to do after a long flight is figure out how to get my phone linked. With this mount, I stick it to the window, stick my phone to it, and I'm off and running.

Scoschd mounts are the best. The window suction cup attach however, is not. It doesn't do a great job and frequently falls even after doing all the typical methods to make a suction cup adhere better.It is what it is, I highly recommend all the other Scoshe options anyway. My favorite phone mounts by far for their low cost, variety, and ease of use!

Custom phone holders for my vehicle very expensive and vent and cup holder mounts didn't work for me. Had a stick holder on but failed in the heat of the summer. Also with a case on, holders that hold phone magnetically didn't work either. This has solved my problems. Just wish I had found it several years ago!!! Obscures access to the fan and ventilation controls a bit but worth it to have the phone secure and easily visible and can reach behind the gooseneck to change the fan if need be. I tend not to fiddle with those controls once I have started anyway.

Loved it while it worked. In a 22 honda accord sport it was tricky to find a good place to put it but i did. Worked great with an iPhone 11 pro max for about 2 months. The adhesive to the car came off. I decided to clean it up and try again with the second one. This time when i detach my phone I will hold the bottom part which is attached to the car and then pull my phone off. Maybe it will last longer. It doesnt work horizontally but i dont care about that. I really do like it. If it lasted longer I would've given it more stars.

I travel often for work and this product has been such a game changer. I peel it off and stick it to the new surface. It works in the car, at my desk, bedside table, pretty much anywhere you can find a flat surface. Awesome product!

So when it’s like 120 on the windshield it looses suction. No big deal, it still holds my phone when I’m dashing and when I use to for directions. Only knocked a star off because it would randomly fall during the summer days. During spring/winter/fall no issues at all

The suction & adhesion are excellent. I use them on desktops, tables & on shop walls with Gladiator Wall. My vehicles are 2nd Gen CR-V's & 3rd Gen Tacoma & they adhere great to the top of the dash. The material & the suction device are well engineered. And the magnetic force to keep your phone in place is definitely strong enough. Never had my phone fall from the magnetic attachment.

Installed it on a clean surface but it does not stay .. at all. Completely defeats the purpose of buying it to hold a phone using the windshield. It is now where it belongs, in the garbage.
