Cracked first time
A little shorter than it seems... they count the length of the little shoelace like end. It is in fact so, but I took it off first thing because, the larger the tip, the louder the sonic boom. That is the coolest part of cracking a whip. I want it to echo across the valley, not sound like a squirrel fart.

Good starter whip for a young whippersnapper!
The media could not be loaded. Got this as a starter whip after seeing the reviews! Handle is a little clunky but overall I love it! Already ready to upgrade from this but it's breaking in nicely. Really pretty, too.

I feel like Indiana Jones
I bought this as prop and was expecting it to be flimsy for the price, but when it arrived, I realized just how sturdy it is! Beautiful weaving of the leather strips, has the potential once broken in to give cracks, and I appreciate the care guidelines that were included

Excellent Whip
I bought this whip to learn to crack and have to say, I wasn't expecting something of this quality in the sub $100 range. It cracks loud and easily, with a pop comparable to a low caliber gunshot. On the visual side of things, it's a beautiful thing. Contrasting strips of black and white leather create a striking pattern that catches the eye.To conclude, I couldn't have asked for a better first whip.

Make sure to keep return bag
The media could not be loaded. The whip was just starting to loosen up and feel more controllable and, BAM. ! Something must have unfastened at the end of the handle ( whip side )It just layer over to almost 90 degreesWhip does not follow the handle like it should anymore. DISAPPOINTED THE GREAT FEELING THAT I WAS STARTING TO FEEL WITH THE WHIPSomething is definitely not right with the whip

not the best construction
it cracks okay, but within a day of use the fall is already breaking and the binding around the fall has come completely undone.
