100% Eucalyptus Lyocell Duvet Cover - All-Season Soft, Cool & Cozy with Easy-to-Fasten Ties & Buttons - Down Alternative & Zero Static- King, White

I don't write a lot of reviews but this duvet is review worthy!! The thickness of the Tencel, it is the thickest softest tencel/Lyocell fabric I have ever seen. Tencel is the only fabric I use now for all my families sheets, pillow cases and duvets. Everyone in my family is chemical sensitive. Cotton is to harsh after sleeping on Tencel and to loaded with chemicals (even organic cotton has chemicals, lots of them). This duvet had NO chemical smells even before it was washed and hung to dry. But the only way to really tell is as soon as you sleep under it, you know, NO CHEMICALS, no reactions of any kind.I have purchased many sets of Tencel-Lyocell linens now and many different brands of Tencel, this brand stands way out, it is pure lux and quality. The workmanship of the duvet is something you don't see very often, there are ties to keep the comforter in, beautiful buttons at the bottom that are perfectly spaced so there are no large gaps (I prefer buttons to zippers as the zippers do not look as nice and do not hang on the bed as nice and if something happens to the zipper, it has to be totally replaced vs sewing a button back on) so your comforter does not show or come out, there is also a closure flap under the button's and a cloth tab sewn in to tell you which end is the bottom left. The seams are perfectly straight and beautifully sewn. The color is a soft pearly white, not a shocking white but not an off white. Perfection. The finish of the fabric has soft rich sheen to it. There was 100% attention to detail. It looks like it cost 3 times the amount paid. All of this is great but the bottom line is, sleeping under this duvet. It is pure heaven for every member of the family. I just put it on the bed in the master bedroom and didn't say a word. EVERYONE commented on it, laid on it. Wanted it in their rooms. That is the highest compliment I can give this duvet as I have very picky people, that know what they like and don't like in the linens department, every my little Toy Fox Terrier (pictured). I purchased this after researching the company and reading other reviews, however my experience was far different than the raving reviews I’d read. When I received my order I immediately washed it per the manufacturer’s instructions (Delicate/Cold Water) then dried it using the recommended delicate setting with low heat.Once it was finally dry, I began putting my duvet insert in the duvet cover and immediately started noticing several small rips and holes all over the duvet cover (see photos). I have never had this issue with any other linens I’ve purchased, and I’ve purchased linens with the same Eucalyptus Lyocell material in the past too. Also, my washer and dryer are brand new, with an expanded capacity which can handle king sized bedding, and the duvet cover was the only thing I was washing, so it’s highly unlikely that the holes were caused by my washer or dryer.Overall, I’m disappointed with my purchase. For the price I paid, (and after reading other reviews of this duvet cover), I was expecting something of higher quality than what I received. The product description makes it sound like an incredible duvet cover, but I definitely received a sub-par one.

This is a seriously soft duvet cover. I got it to go with S&G's eucalyptus sheets that I bought last year, and it didn't disappoint. If you care about yourself or will ever have any other self-respecting human in your bed, you've found what you've been looking for.

I got engaged in March and my fiancé moved in with me. I had never slept with another person in my bed every single night for months and it was beginning to really impact my quality of sleep due to the night sweats I already got from medications I’m taking, and from his 6 ft 5 inches worth of body heat. I looked everywhere to find a comforter that was soft but was light enough that we wouldn’t wake up sweating, or it wouldn’t be so heavy we couldn’t move around underneath. I found the buffy. I used it for one night waiting anxiously for my duvet. See, the buffy is WHITE. That’s the only option you get. I was extremely pleased with the comforter. Then my duvet got here.. I was very nervous because of our previous (my very first) experience with a duvet. I put this thing on my bed and was not disappointed in any way. We’ve been sleeping with it for over a week, I’ve had to wash it twice because I have a two and half year old and a ten month old. It held up way better than I thought. No issues! The buttons that close it are QUITE tedious. But they hold together really well. My comforter hasn’t seen the light except when I took the duvet off to wash it. I was afraid the buffy would slide downfoward in the duvet because of how soft the two are, but I’m pleasantly surprised to say it does not. It stays in place. I sleep in a warm lightweight fluffy freakin cloud every night and I’m so happy I sprung for this duvet. It’s everything I wanted and more. Also, my fiancé can’t get enough of sheets and giggles answers to any questions, their website, the box, the company in general. They seem care free but from what I’ve seen, they really care about their customers and the quality of their product. And the planet, replanting a new tree for every product bought is ingenious. They’re hilarious though, really. My only regret is that we fell in love with the sheex and the buffy before being able to try Sheets and Giggles sheet set and down comforter. Everyone knows what’s on my wishlist for Christmas!
