Barbie Fairytopia - Magic of the Rainbow

These movies are feel good and remind me a being a little kid!!!

As much as Barbie is a toy icon she's also decried by some as an unrealistic and misguided symbol of sexism in our society. All political considerations aside, we own a ton of the Barbie movies because we've found that they unfailingly have very positive messages for girls and really have very little to recommend against.I won't go into the specifics of plot, which can be found elsewhere, but my daughter is 6 and anything involving princesses and music is where her main interests lie. She loves this movie and has watched it multiple times. She loves the music and the humor - it makes her happy, so it makes my wife and me happy.

an lgbt classic

My 3 yr & 6 yr old grand daughters love this move, as with most of the Barbie movies. I wasn't really looking for life's lessons in a Barbie movie, so I wasn't disappointed. There is always some good, some bad & lots of magic. Spending time listening to my grand daughters school me on Barbie - that's all the life's lessons I need. It holds their interest. I think the movie has met it's expectations. I would recommend this movie & series to those that are new to the Barbie series. If you're not new to these movies, you know what to expect.

This little girl is a huge fan of SpongeBob, but her father (who raises her alone) would like to start getting away from this craze as this particular cartoon doesn't teach her enough of the things he wants from her television time i.e. letters, numbers, manners, creativity etc. I bought this Barbie movie as a first step toward a new favorite cartoon for our little girl. I reviewed this particular film last night and think it's pretty good! Beautiful characters and scenery with a good dose of moral and values tucked into the story line. I know she'll love it!

I was excited to watch the trilogy. The movie was going so well till it decided to skip before the classes scene and I missed the first class. It skipped to the second and then it would skip and freeze. But continued not that far, just got to the scene where they start the first blush of spring. I was hoping the movie wouldn't skip. It disappointed me especially watching with friends. It was enjoyable but it made me sad still that I couldn't enjoy it at its full extend.

cured my depression and childhood trauma

I don't mean to be sexist but there are not many boys that would probably like this. My two young daughters love this movie though. There are a few words like "stupid" that I don't allow my daughters to say that are said in this movie but other than that it keeps their attention when it's on. Great buy for the price.

I’ve rated this 5 star even though it’s not been used yet. My granddaughter has quite a few Barbie dvds and she loves them so I don’t see this one as being any different. This is a Christmas gift xx
