These came in a great carry case, they extend easily and are not too sharp for young kids. However, they are a little loose and they slide a bit when you hold them in the fire, so the marshmallows slipped quickly downward when the metal slipped near the handle. The company might tighten the handle area more for safer use. Never the less, they worked for our camping trip, and they are easy to clean.Update: After using these roasting sticks about 3 times, they are not holding up well. The cap at the base slips off, and the roasting stick spins freely, making your marshmallow drop to the bottom of the stick. In other words, you end up roasting only one side of the marshmallow. You can't just push the cap back on, it stays slipped off. These work fine in a pinch, but not the best quality, a bit flimsy, and I don't imagine they'll last long.

These fondue sticks/ marshmallow roasters are really awesome. They can be used to dip things in a fondue pot that’s right in front of you, or extended out a safe distance to roast marshmallows over a fire. They’re easy to clear marshmallow off of, there’s enough for guests to use , and you don’t have to go crazy trying to find and clean off a long enough stick. Be sure to remove the marshmallow from the stick and not eat directly off hot metal stick. :p

After doing some research on a few different products, I finally landed on this & was sold. Decent pricing (you get what you pay for, so I was willing to pay a bit extra for a quality product). These skewer sticks were a great addition to our camping trip, thinking re-usable, so not something I would have to purchase again for continued future use either, as oppose to wooden or disposable skewers. I loved the feature that they extend to longer lengths, and this happens antenna style, so it is easy to extend & also retract. Would definitely recommend to others! Also must mention, had sturdy wooden handles to hold onto & loved the two pronged feature as well, so you can either roast two marshmallows at a time, those new nifty square "smore sized" marshmallows perfectly sized, or even any number of heavier or larger items such as perhaps a hot dog, or other veggies you may want to roast over a campfire. We absolutely LOVE this set. It's so cute and handy. Love that they are expandable. Each has a different color on handle so no one gets them mixed up. 5 to a set. Came with a handy little camo zipper pouch, easy for storage. We have now used these several time for S'mores and hot dogs on our Firepit. Shipped quickly and a great price. Highly recommend and I'd definitely purchase as a gift for others.

Overall these are nice. The seem a bit flimsy compared to others I’ve used. I like the storage bag. The color “caps” are loose and spin. The metal does get hot. Not surprising BUT after repeatedly telling the younger kids to NOT touch the metal my niece did and burned herself. (Obviously not a fault of the creators just a confirmation statement). The issue is others I’ve used have a nice “handle” type in the middle that can be pulled down and doesn’t get hot.Keeping as my sons can following direction and these fit our needs. Just need to be more careful with other kids.

These Marshmallow Roasting Sticks are very useful for making smores around fire pits. he extend to a really long length to ensure the little ones don't get too close to the fire while roasting their marshmallows. Different colors so everyone can find one roasting sticks they like. They wash easily and would work great for hot dogs and marshmallow. They are lightweight, come in a handy pouch with zipper. After using roasting sticks once, the kids say how much they like roasting sticks because they can keep their distance and bake Marshmallow candy. I highly recommend this marshmallow roasting sticks as a gift for your family.

I guess you can’t expect a lot of quality at this price but quality and fit are abysmally low. Pro’s - Comes with a bag to store them in and keep them together. The metal looks decent enough to do the job but have not tried them out yet. Con’s The wooden handles are all drilled off center (third pic), there is a LARGE gap between the plastic at one end of the handle and the metal stop piece at the bottom of the handle allow the handle to slide significantly back and forth. I imagine with a hot dog on there that lowering the tip of this toward the fire would increase the momentum of travel and likely lead to some dogs falling off.

Do you camp? Do you have bonfires or campfires at home? If so, you need these! They take up almost no space when retracted, have different colored handles (perfect for our family of 5!!), and even come with a zippered carrying/storage back. I was leery about them being strong enough when extended, but they are! No drooping or bending. One of the best $15 purchases I’ve made in awhile.

Estas varillas para los bombones son divertidas y muy prácticas, no hemos hecho fogata, pero quemamos bombones para smores en la hornilla de la estufa y cómo crece, sin problema de quemarse lo usaron mis hijos, además un plus que giren aunque sea manualmente es muy sencillo y los bombones se queman más parejo. Encantada con esta compra que además es muy económica para la funcionalidad que tienen.
