Ordered on a whim, but glad I did! Makes short work of chopping large quantities of garlic. A knife will also work fine, but this cuts the time and effort needed. The design appears very ergonomically sound, grips well, not hard to clean.

This little item is an absolute gem. I was never so happy to get rid of my old garlic presses – one that I’ve had for more years than I can remember and one that belonged to my mother-in-law that I inherited when she passed – and that one was really old. I hated using them. I don’t have a great deal of hand strength so they were a pain in the butt. And chopping up garlic just never appealed to me. So when I saw a cooking video on YouTube and saw this thing being used, I was very intrigued.I love that Amazon has almost everything you could ever imagine – I went right to Amazon and here it was. I was delighted. This new toy for my kitchen arrived to me in a few days. I love that it came with a garlic peeler. I did not know there was such a thing. But there is and it’s fun to use and easy. And this rocker that minces the garlic for you is so quick and easy as to not to be believed. This also came with a little scraper to scrape the garlic into whatever you’re cooking and off the surface of the mincer. It’s sturdy – and while it looks small when it comes to you, it actually is just the perfect size for hands, both male and female. My husband loves it as much as I do when he cooks. And since I got it, I cook with a lot more garlic – mainly because it’s so easy I want to use the mincer. Before- recipes that usually called for garlic I would ignore or use some garlic powder. Not any more!!! This item washes up beautifully in the dishwasher as does the peeler, the little scraper tool, and the press. You cannot ask for better than that!!

I used this for the first time today, and had an issue getting the garlic to actually come through the holes, even though I peeled the garlic first, and pressed hard. My regular garlic press (the more standard type with the handles that press together, although that type is harder to clean). They make it look so easy in the videos I've seen advertising this type of press. The garlic was grown in my garden, and smaller than what you might find in the grocery store, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'll try with garlic bought at the store, and update this review afterward. I'd give this 2.5 stars, at the moment. At least it wasn't too expensive.

I used to use a garlic press which I was having trouble squeezing with my hands. The peeler I wasn't sure of but what a great idea. I have a little trouble with a larger garlic clove but only because of the arthritis in my hand and shoulder, the smaller ones are easy. The little spatula and brush are useful to clean out the garlic from the holes. Everything washes easily too.

Very easy and comfortable to use. If you have issues with your hands, a regular press is hard to use. This one is super easy to use and the more you rock, the finer the product. The peeler is not really useful as if you hit the garlic with the flat of your knife, it does that for you. The scraper is pretty useless and will get lost easily in the drawer because it is so small. A spoon or butter knife works way better. They could get rid of the scraper and peeler and add a stiff nylon brush to assist in cleaning it. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Thought it would bea bit easier . The tube for peeling works well. As for crushing you can only use smaller garlic..
