We purchased this liquid nutritional drink when our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was quite sick with heart disease and liver problems, and she had stopped being able to eat and digest solid foods. We gave this food to her orally using a 10ml syringe and she tolerated it quite well. She seemed to lap it up somewhat eagerly when we inserted the tip of the oral syringe in her mouth. We believe this food kept her going for longer than she otherwise could have lasted. It worked well for us in this difficult situation.

My dog has been diagnosed with a cancer mass in her chest. She stopped eating her kibble because it’s pressing on her stomach and her esophagus causing pain when she swallows. She was 126lbs last week and now she’s 93lbs. I’m very hopeful this product will help her get her weight back and get her the nutrients she needs since she’s no longer eating as much as she was. I am so very thankful this product arrived next day. I don’t know if she would have made it another day without it. So far I have mixed it with wet dog food and she ate it just fine. I thought I was going to have to syringe it to her although the product is more like a goop than a liquid so I’m not sure now if syringing it would be an option. So far I’m very satisfied with the product. After only having one dose of 3tbs today she doesn’t seem as lethargic and she has gotten her appetite back.

My dog isn’t a fan of the flavor, but it helped get his weight up, which was the point! Smells like vanilla pudding or condensed milk- not 100% sure it isn’t LOL

Works as expected on our skinny pup rescued off the streets. No side effects noted.

So my 1yr old 5 lb. yorkie came down with the dreadful HGE and refused to eat for 48 hrs. Not one bite, not even a lick of water. I fed him this formula (1/2 tsp mixed with 4 oz. water) spread out thru out the day with a 1 ml needle-free syringe. He got peppy again to my relief and begun immediately scarfing down the bland turkey breast/pumpkin/white rice porridge made as his recovery meal. It’s been day 3 of this routine and my dog is recovering extremely well and his poop is finally blood free. He needed the extra calorie cus the porridge wasn’t gona cut it and I think it has appetite enticing agents in it…my dog really came alive after the first taste of this magic vanilla potion!

Changed the flavor? We used this year's ago for our dog as a puppy and he liked it. He's now five years old and needs a bit more weight on him. Figured we would try this again... he won't touch it now.
