These are great for keeping the moderate cold or wind off of your face. They are thin and breathable. They are not thermally insulated. I would not suggest them for super cold winds, but still it would be better than nothing in the super cold.I wear them for motorcycle riding in cooler weather. And work in cold (not below 25°F) winds.

I bought them for my husband to protect him from Covid, Flu, Cold, Wind while working. Thick enough to protect, but thin enough that you won't feel anxious to have it over your nose and mouth. My Husband has a bit of a phobia of having things covering his mouth and nose, and he's been able to wear these. They are not tight on his face. It was a good purchase for us. I will add that once it starts to get colder, something a little bit thicker could possibly be needed, but for now, he's happy with these.

I keep my thermostat at 60 F at night (and 65 F during the day), and my head has been getting realy cold at night. I have a motorcycle Balaclava, and tried wearing it to bed to keep my head warm. It worked, but it was too tight. I saw these and read some of the reviews, and noticed some people felt they were a little loose - which is what i was looking for. These fit perfect. Not too loose, and tight enough they do't slide around. A plus is I have enough to rotate them out during the week so I have a fresh one to wear.

This soft face mask is perfect! Living in Florida, I am trying to reduce sun exposure. Now I wear the face mask when walking, cycling, and swimming. It helps my swim cap glide on, without tangling my hair as in the past. As an added bonus, I find that when wearing it over wet hair (after swimming and showering), my hair dries to a nice curly style! Highly recomment.

These are way smaller that any normal balaclava. If you have a head on the larger side they will likely be too tight, and they barely cover down far enough on your neck to be tucked into your coat. I would not recommend these during a cold day. And they will likely be to tight for the summer.
