TevaWomen's Original Universal Sandal

My first pair of tevas! I don’t like wearing sneakers on vacation but needed something for walking around. These were absolutely perfect.sturdy, comfy and cute!

I've worn Teva sandals for many years now, but this was my first time purchasing the original universal style. I'm between 7 and 8, so I read dozens of reviews hoping they would help me choose. I also went to my local REI store and tried on both sizes. The 7s and 8s fit similarly, so I ended up ordering a size 7. Unfortunately, they did not fit as expected. My feet tend to swell in the summer, and the 7s are rather narrow. My pinky toes were squished and it felt like my toes might slide over the front; my heels didn't sit right either. Luckily, Amazon's return process is pretty effortless, so I exchanged them for a size 8, and they fit perfectly! These shoes are beyond comfortable with strong velcro. I have yet to test them kayaking and walking through pluff mud, but I have worn them to the beach many times and they are quick to dry! My Teva Dorado sandals held up through some brutal adventures, so I'm expecting these will too!

The beautiful, metallic, bright straps will brighten the days of my soon-to-be trip to Belize! They are so comfortable and will be easy and lightweight to pack. Reviews say they will be good in water. Total package for travel shoes!

These sandals were the only thing I needed on my trip. I wore them for hiking, walking around town, and going to dinner. I did a brutal hike wearing them and did end up taking a small chunk out of them when I tripped on some lava rock, but it was my own clumsiness. They aren't super great to walk in when they're really wet because your feet slide around a little, but they dry pretty fast. I broke my toe first day of vacation, and these shoes were supportive enough to still hike around in. The front strap and back strap adjust separately, so it works well for wider feet.These sandals are definitely worth it and have elevated my hiking game and vacays like none other.

I already love my Teva flatforms which I wear casually/to run errands, but before a trip to the lake with swimming and kayaking I wanted a pair that I could take into the water with me. I originally considered Teva's water shoes like the Hurricane which are all foam, including the straps, but some reviews mentioned the footbed becoming slippery when wet which kind of defeats the purpose. So I went with a pair of Originals instead because the footbed is textured.Pros:• Like the flatforms, these fit true to size - I'm usually a 7 and the 7's fit perfectly• Love that the front and back straps are adjustable for a snug and custom fit• They're comfortable barefoot or with socks• The footbeds weren't slippery at all in the waterCons:• They feel a little thin - like when walking on a road with gravel you'll be able to feel some of the bigger pieces of rock through the footbed• There's some "drag" in the water but that's to be expected with a sandal instead of a shoe• If I walk longer distances in these without socks, sometimes the textured footbed will rub on the balls of my feet• The straps themselves aren't waterproof at all and they take forever to dry - at least 24 hours inside. So if you need to wear them again the next day, have fun slipping your feet into damp, cold straps.Overall they worked well for my purpose but I don't think Teva should advertise them as waterproof which is a bit misleading. I'll probably keep them for casual wear because they're comfy and cute, but look for something better suited to water for next time.

These are easy to adjust for a comfortable and secure fit. I have 2 pairs of these. I appreciate that they are easy to clean. I have no regrets or anything negative to report. Will purchase again.

These are great shoes for anytime it’s warmer outside. Very comfortable to walk around it and last a long time.

I ordered the Teva Sandals before my last beach trip and they were great. I had noticed last year that my Chacos were uncomfortable on the beach, very hard under my foot and so much sand would get stuck in the foot bed, that became uncomfortable as well. My Teva's we're perfect. They were soft and easy to walk in and didn't completely fill with sand unless I dug in or kicked sand up. I felt like I could walk across the sand a little better. I have had Teva's with a molded or contoured foot bed before but I chose this soft flatter sole for the beach and they were great! I also loved the print! One shoe did come with a rubbed/ scraped area on the top but I received them the day before my trip so I took them anyway figuring they would probably get a little scraped up there anyways. I did noticed what others said about the toe area being a little long. It will catch on you if you are tired and drag your foot a bit but I also think that is what helped keep my sandal from filling with sand so much.

Muy buenas chanclas, cómodas, diseño lindo. Lo único es que si las mojas pues estarán húmedas porque las tiras de amarre son de tela. Solo Lara tomar eso en cuenta de ahí en fuera excelentes.

Got these for my birthday, I absolutely love them! I spent all summer in them, hiking, at the beach, through creeks, walking with the kids... They're holding up great, are easily adjustable, the stitching and material are superb, and so comfy! Plus, i just love the pattern! Totally worth the investment!

I wasn’t sure if I would like the colour but I love them! Great fit, feels great

Not the quality I recognize from the Teva brand. I had owned real leather Tevas that were a deeper brown, with a much more comfortable foot bed than this one. This actually feels like cheap plastic rubbing against your bare skin. I've kept them b/c I like the neutral colour and I figured I could at least wear them around the cottage.
