Best Shapewear I've Ever Found
I've tried alot of shapewear from the expensive to the cheap. Most have either been so tight I'd have to yank the offending garmet off before it strangled me to death like a boa constrictor on the hunt or they just did nothing more than my regular underpinnings would have done anyways. Add to that all the tugging and pulling up and pushing down and frankly I came to regard most shapewear as an exercise in futility or at the very least a new brand of aerobic exercise I've come to call "fidget-cise".And then I took a chance on this Squeem waist compression garment after reading online reviews. I am now a convert both of shapewear and Squeem. It's surprisingly comfortabler, cinches my waist in a way that looks believable and just makes my clothes hang better, and stays put no matter what I'm doing. Well maybe it wouldn't if I were at the gym, but who wears shapewear there anyways. It has the added bonus of making stomach bloating less obviousfor those days when water retention rears its ugly head too, something i have alot more trouble with now that I'm older and heading into menopause territory. I do notice my abdomen stays flatter longer the more I wear this, so I've sort of come to view it similar to that of my compression stockings that help keep swelling down in my feet. It also gives me great back support and helps me sit up straighter at my desk, which for me is an added bonus since I tend to slump over my keyboard. Now, I do want to state there are several cons to this undergarment since there just are to all shapewear. I'm sorry, but the day someone invents shapewear that feels as good as a t-shirt and sucks us in like expensive lipo is the day I make that person a very, very, very wealthy individual.First, this is a compression garment. It will squeeze your waist and provide noticeable pressure around your body. So if you have very sensitive skin you may not like the feel of it. Second, it is a bit of bear to put on. You wrap it around your body then have to move your fingers down a row of tiny hooks in front that slowly close over your stomach and abdomen. This is not for the faint of heart or those who give up easily. It is made much easier if you a) lay down at least the first few times where you have a flatter surface and b) size correctly. Please no vanity sizing here or thinking you will end up with a 17-inch waist if you normally wear a large and order a small. You just won't be able to put the garment on at all and will likely put someone's eye out with it if you try and it goes flying. Third, it will create back fat and funny bulges if you don't wear the correct bra with it--i.e. something with thick straps that you can pull down over the back bulges and/or a tank top over the top of it. I understand there is another Squeem undergarment that is a vest to eliminate that and I will look into that at a later date.So there are my main loves and dislikes abotu this shapewear, but the dislikes are small enough I ignore them and choose to look fabulous instead. I know, vanity is a harsh taskmaster isn't she? But truthfuly wearing this undergarment is a whole lot less painful than catching a glimpse of myself in a mirror and thinking, "Gah! Puffy, puffy!" It's even inspired me to focus on losing weight since I now have a visual cue of what I'd likely look like if I weighed a few pounds less.

THE REAL DEAL!! :D :D
>>> FINALLY! something that really works, no gimmicks, no exaggerations!, it does work and I'm so happy that I found this product after so many fails with other brands and products.>>>This is my case: I'm 5'3", size 4 or 6 in clothes, or Medium in others, sometimes I can even wear Small, depending on the brand. My waist is 33" hips 38". I cannot provide a weight because I don't weigh myself (it's depressing and frustrating). So, after I measured my waist I looked at the chart provided by the manufacturer, it said that I had to buy a MEDIUM size Squeem, even when it said that my regular clothes size was 8 or 10. Don't pay attention to that, but to your WAIST SIZE in inches, that will give you the perfect size you have to buy, or else you'll end up buying a size too small and will find it impossible to wear or even painful.I thought I could fit in a Small size, but the reality was that my waist belongs to a bigger size, so I ordered the Medium as the chart said.It fits perfectly!.As soon as I took it out of the box I stood in front of the mirror and tried to close it -big mistake- I couldn't even fasten one hook because it felt so tiny and impossible to close, until I remembered what another user wrote so I followed her advice, I laid down on my bed and started to fasten the little hooks starting at the very end, then I fastened one in the middle and one at the very top, after that fastening the others was easier. Not as easy as sliding a Spanx camisole on top of you (it took me a couple of minutes) but THE RESULTS WERE OUTSTANDING, when I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror I saw a waist, yes, a beautiful hourglass figure and a smaller waist, 2 inches smaller on the first row of hooks (It'll be even smaller once I can advance to the 2nd row), so instantly, I lost 2 inches on my waist, everything looks flat, even, uniform, smooth, no bulges, no muffin top, no rolls, no belly that looks like a bread dough, just a beautiful figure instantly. I didn't know if I wanted to cry or what, I wasn't expecting immediate results, or results this noticeable, I'm used to the mild support and not-so-noticeable results the Spanx line has given me ( I owe two camisoles and tried 2 different bodysuits). To test the comfort of my Squeem I decided to take a 30 minute walk wearing it (lol) so I walked to the office wearing it: I felt a lot of support in the tummy, lots of support for my back as well, my posture improved immediately, the way I breath changed as well, I'm not used to have any support on that area so it felt different, like I cannot take big long gulps of air (no problem tho). It felt comfortable, not "wearing-sweats-and no-bra" kind of comfortable, but not restricting at all, quite the opposite, the support and pressure on my middle region makes me feel (and look) better, lighter and slimmer. The Squeem covers all the way from under my breasts to my hips, it covers my hip bones so there's no chance of muffin tops squeezing out of the piece, it's a flatten surface all over my middle section. The material is rubbery, it does have a smell (rubber) but it didn't bother me unless I tried to smell it. I'm sure it'll go away once I wash it (I'll update on that). The interior is covered in soft fabric, it doesn't feel hot or sweaty (and I took it for a walk!) but I don't live in a hot region so I couldn't tell you how this works in humid-hot cities. The first day I wore it for 5 hours straight at the office, after 30 minutes walking outside, I did sweat because my t-shirt showed some wet spots, but the Squeem didn't bother me at all, no wet or cold feeling, no heavy or slimy either. So this is my take on this product, I have tried other shapewear, most of them give you some results, mostly, smoothing the rolls and keeping the muffin tops at bay, or other nice-looking but mild results. What this Squeem does is it takes inches from your waist and belly instantly, it makes your belly look completely flat and gives you support for a better posture. It gives you an hour glass figure in minutes, put it on >BOOM!> you have a waist.Yes, it's way more restrictive than other brand's shapewear, it has a rubbery smell, it's more difficult to put on, it may show (the little hooks) through your t-shirt if you are wearing very tight, thin tops, BUT none of that matters for a simple reason, this actually gives you what all of those other brands are promising but can't deliver: this truly gives you an instant, very noticeable thinner (and beautiful) middle section.I'll update this review in a couple of weeks to let you guys know how does this product works in the long run.

Great corset for post partum
I bought this in a M to wear immediately post partum. My pre pregnancy weight was 120lb at 5'6" and I was at around 145 to 148lb after I left the hospital.I put it on the 4th day, could not get it on any sooner, and it barely fit and was super uncomfortable but boy did it make me look better. I wore it for less than 1 hour and tried again the next day and increased how long I wore it. After about the 3rd day, it was bearable and I was able to wear it all day long. In fact it made me feel a lot more supported and also gave me a great shape very soon after birth. By the 2nd week of wearing it I was on the second row of hooks and by the 4th week, the top was too loose and I probably could go down to a S. The lower stomach still benefits from a bit of a squeeze in but its now longer fitting at the top.I highly recommend this product as a post partum griddle. I had bellefit also but could not stand the crotch piece. This is very comfortable although in the summer months it probably gets pretty hot. Although they say it does not help with weigh loss it certainly helps move things back to its own place and make mom feel better about her body. I loved it and am contemplating buying a smaller size to wear under certain shirts.Giving 4 stars only because it kinda rolls down at the top now and does show a little under tight clothing. Also, would be nice if it had 3 rows of hooks instead of just 2.

Love this waist cincher!
(Used as post-partum belly binder.)Purchased this item on the amazon UK website. Even though the item came all the ways from America, delivery was very quick (less than a week). The seller was very helpful and replied to email queries straight away. I have been wearing this for 5 days now. Here are some highlights of what I found with this product:SIZE- get the size according to the sizing chart. I followed some of the reviews saying to order a size up and regretted it. True, when it arrived I could hardly put it on without having to lie on my back but within 3 days I could hook it up on the 2nd rows without any difficulties and whilst upright. Now I have to order a smaller one in only 5 days!MATERIAL - high quality cotton and rubber. Expect to smell the rubber but after a while, you won't notice it anymore. As what most have experienced, if you find skin contact is uncomfortable do try wearing it over a thin fitted top. I didn't mind wearing it either way.COMFORT - depends on one's tolerance for compression. I have been wearing a belly binder 24/7 in last 6 weeks post-partum so wearing this isn't much of a discomfort. The first wear was the hardest but totally forgot I was wearing it within an hour. Now I am wearing it over my tubigrip compression binder to give me more compression. Hence, I definitely need to get the XS soon.I didn't experience any rolling up or down even though I wear this for over 12 hours everyday. I also didn't get any bulges/spillage over the top or under. Just make sure you wear a low cut knickers for easy access when going to the loo. Will definitely recommend this over belly bandit and other waist shapers such as flexees etc. which I've tried in the past.

Helpful for my Diastasis Recti
My first Squeem started to tear down the left side seam and I only wore it around 4-5 times. I was surprised at the incredible customer service I received from Amazon. They sent me a new one right away (same size) and even refunded me a portion of shipping. Now to the Squeem. I am 5 ft 3.5" and have a 27.5"waist. I wore my new Squeem about 2-3 times a few hours in a day. This one seems to fit better and feels sturdier. I did notice the help with alignment and reminders to contract and hold my transverse abdominus muscles more with this on than off. I am mainly using this to help close the last bit of diastasis recti after birthing my last child who is now 9. Along with my controlled abdominal exercises and the use of the Squeem, I am getting stronger and smaller in the mid-section. Hope to be back to my 26" waist, which I had prior to babies. I recommend using this only when you are in motion. Wearing this at work where I sit all day long didn't really have any impact, but after work while taking a walk or doing dishes and laundry, workouts, etc. seemed to produce better results in my case. Hope this will help you guys and I do recommend this product if buying the correct size for your body.

I didn't find it to be reeking of plastic like some people complained of
I purchased this because I was curious to see if waist training was actually effective. I'm 5'11, about 150 lbs (my measurements are 39-27.5-38) and I bought a small (hoping it would fit small as I'm currently getting back in shape). I didn't find it to be reeking of plastic like some people complained of, there is a slight smell of it but nothing overwhelming enough to upset me. When I first tried it on it felt tight, but not uncomfortable. In fact I loved that it did improve my posture immediately and I felt like it gave me excellent back support. I have a large chest and sit at a desk all day and this really makes my back feel great! The cosmetic uses aside I would purchase this exclusively for the back support. Anyways I can eat, drink and workout fine. No issues with breathing or digestion. And it does cinch in the waist quite nice. I dont think theres an extreme difference on my body as I naturally have a small waist, but it does suck in the "love handle" area of my body for a gorgeous hourglass shape. After wearing the first day for about 6 hours it did seem to leave a lasting shape but not for long. Anyways I'm pretty happy and excited to see the difference over time.

A good waist cincher
I have a diastasis from pregnancy, and have tried a couple of splints, also from a well known company, but found it was uncomfortable and rolled up, and I ended up not using it. Although this cincher is not specifically designed for diastasis, I find I can wear it all day. It is fairly comfortable as far as cinchers go, and does not ride up. You have to wear really low cut underwear, as it reaches from underneath the bust to just above the pubis.I have found that after wearing it for about a week now, my waist has slightly reduced in size (may also be due to diet), and I may have to order another smaller one.A big positive over other splints, is that you cannot see it under clothes. Even quite thin clothing. A negative I suppose, is that there could have been another row of clasps, so you could use it for longer, as now I am going to have to purchase another smaller one.So my advice would probably be, go for a slightly smaller size if you are just on the border. But other wise measure yourself, and choose the correct fit they recommend. Also, if you do have a diastasis, this cincher may help hold everything in, but certainly should not be used as an alternative to tightening the core transverse muscles.
