Water Damage
Not all happy with the staining on pages and cracked cover caused by water damage. I was under the impressing that this was good condition, and top of that I read no where that it was a exlibrary book with labels all over it.

the war began
the war between soul city and the spider witch finally began, with assistance from an unexpecting source, the student enter the spider lair. Anyways, this volume is basically a show chapter, setting up and explain how stuff gonna go down, who enter the tray, and the reason of each individual(most of em anyway). at the end of the volume we get the return of my favorite character in the series with by far one of the best entry into the battle field evar.

Good read, excellent graphics.
I loved this book. I had to purchase it as a replacement book for one my dog ate that belonged to the local library. I decided to read it and had to go get all of the rest of the series. If you like this kind of story, try reading a non-manga book called Strange Days: Book 1 of the William Magi Jr adventures.

To Baba Yaga Castle
Although imprisoned in the dungeons of DWMA, the witch Medusa is still able to manipulate everyone and offers Shinigami-sama an offer he cannot refuse. The resulting operation sees Maka and her friends into the heart of Arachnophobia's base Baba Yaga Castle. Meanwhile Kim and Jackie find out that their choices have lead them into trouble. This twelfth volume of the 'Soul Eater' manga sets things up nicely for the conclusion of the Arachnophobia arc. With the exception of a brief skirmish with a mutant squid that allows Medusa to show what she can do, there is little in the way of action in this volume as it mostly sets things up for the battles to come in future volumes. The volume includes some very funny moments throughout however and there are also some very nicely done character moments for both Maka and Ox Ford. The volume also introduces a new, and eccentric, Death Weapon. The volume also includes the usual bonus comic and brief translation notes as well as some congratulations on getting an anime adaption.Overall this volume of 'Soul Eater' was mostly setup for what is to come but it is still very entertaining and worthy of a full five stars.

Let's go hunting for Souls!
Soul Eater is amazing. It has a unique art style that I haven't seen before and it works extremely well. The characters are ostentatious and surprisingly funny! The story is interesting and I can see myself getting hooked very quickly!
