RolodexWood Tones Collection Desk Pad, Black (62540)

We were very disappointed we were unable to use these as they were too large for our conference room table. They were very attractive and well-made. We have not been able to find a substitute. We so wish they made these a bit smaller as we needed to fit six around the conference room table. Also, the price is extremely good for the quality. We have yet to purchase a replacement because we cannot match the very nice appearance, quality and price. While I cannot speak to the durability because we did not use them, they looked very durable.

Even though I found some bad reviews about this product (mainly the package), I decided to buy it anyway because of the price. Well then, in the end, I have to say that I received the product in a very generous double packaging (amazon and rodolex packages). As a result, in my case the pad had no scratches at all and was in perfect condition, so I have to say that I'm glad I bought this product, it looks really nice and professional for a very reasonable price.

I bought this item for my new desk. It's large and thick so it looks impressive. The wood trim along the top is pretty and adds a fancy trim. It shines nicely with some wax. Overall it does the job of keeping writing impressions out of the desk caused by a pen point into the softer wood.My only complaint is the faux leather is very thin. Even after a short time with gentle wear, I see pin point holes in the pleather - caused possibly by staples or other items commonly found on office desks. Not only are they unsightly, but I imagine after more form, the divots will make smooth writing impossible which negates the reason for this product.I'd recommend this product if you have low expectations for its durability.

Great improvement for my desk. Makes my desk look more professional and organized, and the slot at the top provides a handy space for my pen. Now, it's within easy reach of my documents when I need to editing changes or sign papers. I like this desk pad much better than a blotter. With the advent of ball point pens you blotters aren't necessary any more.

A sold desk pad. I've used these pads in the past, and this model is nicely sized for writing, is a firm surface, and doesn't bow like some desk pads. Now it's not huge, mind you, nor does it have pockets to put down blotter paper. But it is solidly built and affordable.

I prefer the size and shape of this item,it is larger in length than many others but shorter in width also, which works better for me, and the pen holder at the front is convenient. The item itself looks very nice however it is also easily indented and somewhat fragile since it seems to be made of some kind of heavy cardboard and the coating is easily punctured if your not careful.As long as one is careful with this item it should stay nice and serve its purpose for a good long time, just be gentle with it.

I'm not really happy with this. I bought it to save wear on my desk, but I can;t say it's the best quality. The fake leather looks okay, but the (fake?) wood does not look like wood in any way. The fact that this is called "wood tones" would lead one to think that it would in some way resemble wood. But this is solid shiny black. There is no variegation or grain, real or fake. So there is no real wood tone here. Maybe it looks better in brown.To make things worse, mine came dusty and slightly scratched, even though it was bagged and boxed. I would also note that the pad is soft enough that writing with a pen or sharp pencil will leave marks on the fake leather.It's also soft enough to be unpleasant to write on.So this is okay if you want to protect your desk from something like a laptop, but you can't write on it. On the upside, it's still the least ugly option I could find for the price, and I'm betting that the brown versions look better.

Love this rigid support writing desk. I am able to put my mouse and keyboard on it and maneuver around and have them together without flopping around. The last one I mounted to my stairmaster so I could walk and have my computer controls close by. The fake leather backing peeled after a year so had to by a new one.

Excellent! I love it! It arrived on time in perfect condition. After a long research and many failed purchases with other suppliers and other brands, I decided to try this desk pad and the high quality amazed me. Great price for great quality. It truly has that "executive look"
