When I couldn't find a valence the right size and color for my kitchen window that would match the drapes in the adjoining living area, I bought one more panel that was on the other windows, cut it to size, hemmed it with the iron-on seam tape...done in less than 2 hours from start to finish, including hanging it up. No hemming, no need for a sewing machine, It looks just beautiful on the window. Following the instructions, when I tested it, the tape was secure. So easy, so painless and looks 'store-bought'.

Be careful when ironing this on. The adhesion is not great, and if you leave the iron on it too long trying to get it to adhere, it will scorch the fabric.

I used this tape to hem some curtains I made, to avoid sewing. It worked great for me. The tape holds well, and the curtains look smooth. The sticky part of the tape does not go all the way to the tape edges, so no goo got on my iron or on other parts of the fabric.

This tape worked great on some lightweight curtains I did not want to cut or sew.

This hem tape did not adhere at all. Comes with no instructions so had to read a review to know that it doesn’t work like normal hem tape, but has only one sticky side that has to be ironed over the hem and the pant leg. Tried it with these instructions and it still didn’t work.

Bought this to iron over a hem on a valance I was making. Makes the seem look more professional. Easy to iron on with a reasonable hot setting and a bit of steam.

Not very effective at sealing the gems. This came without any directions. I put the iron on cotton setting to hem thin denim cuffs and pressed it for about 60 seconds. It seemed to seal but then when it cooled it lifted so I hand stitched it instead. I left the iron on tape in the cuff and it worked as a kind of guide and stiffened the fabric for easier seeing but this tape is not the best for using in its own. I think you will have to stitch with thread too.

Excellent product.

The strips are narrow and don’t stick well to the fabric. I was able to easily peel it off like it was scotch tape. Useless to hem the pants I needed it for.
