Perfect for IPTV
Easy to setup, got it up and running in no time. The quad core processor makes it snappy and lag free. Great value for the money. Was able to download my IPTV player and load up my m4u files without any problem. Only downside is text input takes some time with the arrows button. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Smooth, fast, reliable streaming. I'm impressed for the price!
Update, ok I think you learn more about a company when you have a problem. I did, they made everything right as fast as possible! After about a week the network cable wouldn't stay in the port. I messaged their support, and had a new box in two days! It's not the most high end device, but it is optimized for what it does and at this price point you're not going to find a better box. Good device, good company, great support!(Original Review) Great little box! I have a nice TV, but it's just old enough that Samsung doesn't make new apps available on it. This box makes it better than new, it supports any Android TV app. My TV is (like) new again, and supports everything I want it to do. Ok, I was hesitant to try this based on the specs, but it was the price point I wanted. It is well optimized, runs good, has the native Google Play Store, some of these boxes are slow and glitchy. This one is fast, with great picture quality. I'm hard wired to my internet, and watching HD (not 4K so I can't comment on that). No lag, no glitchy software, just smooth, simple, and stable operation.

Don't believe the "verified" purchase reviews. This thing is junk.
Don't believe the positive ratings on this Android box. First of all it is incredibly slow. It took for ever to navigate through Kodi and finally get a movie to start playing. It does not handle playing 1080P HD movies at all. Constant buffering every 2 seconds and a notification even pops up that says to slow to play. Internet connection is not a problem with upload and download speeds over wifi are over 150mbps and I had this unit hooked straight to the ethernet. You are must better off either spending a little extra money and getting a box from a known and respected company then wasting your time having to return this. For a lower price you can just go with the 4K fire stick that well out performs this box. It's not even a close comparison either. I read the positive "verified" purchase reviews and got suckered in. Don't do the same, stay away from this and all of the other non certified android boxes.

Not all functions of Android 9 work
I really wanted this TV box to work for me but I finally gave up. The unit was emitting Radio Frequency Interference causing constant white noise on my two way radio equipment while operating in the 70 centimeter Ham band. Turn the TV box on and the noise was there, turn the TV box off and the noise was gone. The Android 9 VPN page would NOT allow the building of a PPTP profile. The VPN page should have a plus sign (+) in the top right of the VPN screen that allows the user to start the PPTP profile build process. There was no plus sign there. The Android 9 operating system would NOT allow the setting of a pin security code either. I contacted the seller with these problems and they stated they would turn the problems over to their engineer. Nothing more heard from them until I contacted them again just before the return window was about to close. They had no fixes. I returned the item.

A good idea poorly executed
I recently got a new Sony smart TV that runs Android and I absolutely love it. I wanted to upgrade the 'dumb' television in my exercise room to have similar capabilities so I got this device and was sorely disappointed. The UI is terrible and difficult to navigate. It almost looks as though it was designed to function on something with a touch screen - like a tablet and not a TV. Navigating with the remote is difficult. Not only does the remote not have a built in microphone (meaning no voice input. You'll need to use the on screen keyboard for everything) it doesn't even include fast forward or pause buttons for media apps (just next/previous). Im not certain, but the apps available don't quite seem to be designed for TVs either - as if the app store is showing things designed for mobile phones. On my Sony TV everything just seems to work intuitively. This device frequently requires things like controlling a virtual mouse pointer with the remote's D-pad (a thoroughly unpleasant experience) to use the various apps.I believe you can add peripherals to it. A mouse or trackpad may make things easier if you want to go that route. Just using the supplied remote, however, is incredibly frustrating and not worth the price.

Lie Lies Lies
anyone that gave this high reviews may just be ignorant of technology or working for the makers of this junk. where do i start? low laggy framerate, treats android like its on a phone(dont transition well to tv), its rooted so alot of apps dont work. even if u want to just stream with it. it dont do it all that great. the supposed quad core processor features about as much power as a single core snapdragon. very very cheaply made. do yourselves a favor and save your money for something better. i would return it but have no way to the ups store it would just cost me more money for rides. i may just stop buying off amazon cuz of this device. im canceling my prime membership after this review. im at the age now where i hate wasting money on something so unusuable. so dont buy this for a streaming device.cant believe they have no quality control so bye bye amazon :(

Completely un-initiative with incompadible apps
When I first received this I couldn't understand why it had so many positive reviews. After spending the better part of a day on it, I still can't understand it!The device seems to be android notebook edition with a TV interface slapped ontop of it. As such the main interface is extremely clunky. On top of that apps (like Netflix) have buttons that cannot even be pressed using the remote such as the search bar. The remote has a "mouse mode" which allows a mouse to be shown on the screen that can then be moved around to select this. However this is extremely slow and items cannot be paused as well as a myriad of other problems. Similar issues are also present in other apps installed from the android app store.Honestly I can't understand why people think this is a good product, it is almost unusable!
