NOT A DARK GREEN !! contrary to description I should have read the reviews
Disappointed , like others I ordered this as I wanted a dark green twine to blend in with my plants that needed tying in. My photo doesn't really convey how bright it is but as it indicates on the pack, it is clearly a 'Christmas' Green. Also the photo on Amazon WAS of a Dark Green Twine and the 2 spools were not in a pack. Obviously this was old Christmas stock Not worth the hassle to return as I need it now.

Bright “in your face” green
Good quality garden string. Sadly the colour advertised, and also shown in advert, is an unobtrusive dark green, but the actual colour of the string is a bright “in your face” green. Thus its uses are limited, and as such would not recommend.

This is not dark green
I ordered this because we find the commonly found light green garden string stands out too much against the plants & is unsightly. This product is advertised as being dark green with the photo also showing it dark green in colour - it isn't. This is mid green at best & not what I wanted.

Strong twine but it's a garish green colour, not the dark forest green in photos
This twine would be value for money as it's 2 spools of strong twine. I'm just annoyed the colour isn't the dark forest green in the listing photo. Instead it's an unnatural garish green which really stands out against plant foliage in my borders and spoils the aesthetic. I see it's listed as 'traffic green' which should've alerted me to the fact but the photo is misleading. Had to buy another twine elsewhere and save this for other uses.

The string colour not as picture
The quality etc. of the string was okay but I wanted but I chose the dark green one and received the bright green which does not blend in with my plants as well for gardening

It's string.
It's string, it's green and it does the job of tying things. Not much more I can say really, though why the lighter green is cheaper than the usual dark green is a complete mystery to me. If it's for use in the garden, go for the cheaper option!

Better for the garden and the planet!
It's jute string - what more can I say? It's handy in the garden and will rot down eventually, much better that the plastic and wire! When I have to cut down the things I've tied up the whole lot can go into my composting bins.

useful and biodegradable - birds eat them
used by mum in the garden, mostly growing beans on bean poles.as they arent plastic, they are eaten by the birds and dont leave any rubbish for the environment.
