Love the product, LOVE LOVE the customer service!
If you are going to read this, focus on the customer service of a company that stood behind its product, even though the customer (me) is at fault. The Fryer:So we bought this after looking at the more expensive fryers offered by Philips . The result? We Love it! It makes nice crispy fries and other "snack" foods, perfectly. (Hint Shaking the basket is a good thing, as well as warming it up for 1-2 mins) It cleans easily, and the kitchen does not smell of oil. We find that an average fries bag from the supermarket can make 2 1/2 batches.I like the compact design, it has 2 nice "handles" at the back which I use to push it in and out of the counter. Solid timer, not complicated control, a nice satisfying ding to tell you it's done. Cleanup is very easy.THE COMPANY: (look at this , you guys!)In short, they a) communicated in a personal way when we bought the product and b) they sent me a replacement basket for a basket that we destroyed - totally our fault- . (see below)I believe companies like that should get rewarded with our business. They certainly are being rewarded with my loyalty - for life. So, buy the fryer!:-)The long storyHere is an actual exchange between me and Cozyna's customer service, after they sent me a personalized email"Hi Harry,My name is Elodie and I am the co-owner of Cozyna. I wanted to personally thank you for your order , it means a lot to us.We are a small company and the way we see it, you are now part of the Cozyna family. We will go above and beyond to give you the best experience. So, if you have any questions or issues about your order or product, please contact us or reply to this email. We are here to help!"---------Reply after a few weeks by me, after we had a mishap (totally our fault)Hi. Actually I have good news and bad news. The good news? We LOVE the fryer. We get crispy fries and no fryer smell. The bad news? We need a replacement part. My wife accidentally set down the basket on the stove , while it was hot (the stove) , and it melted the plastic part of the basket , including the piece that activates the heater. So, can you help me? Can I guy the plastic part? I know it fastens with 3 screws . Or can I buy the replacement basket overall?Let me know , and thank you again for the product.------Response from them:Hello Harry,We are very sorry about this issue. Your happiness and satisfaction is our main priority so we are sending you a replacement basket right away. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and if you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.Sincerely,Elodie"

Love this Air-Fryer!
I wanted a gizmo that would make great french fries without the fat because I LOVE french fries. The attached picture is just one example of what this product can do. I made quail the other night that turned out crispy outside and tender inside in about 20 minutes. So impressed with that dinner that I'm making cornish hen later this week. I also made near-fat-free hashbrowns by spraying the basket with vege-oil and also spraying the top of the hashbrowns. The BEST I have ever had. There are plenty of air fryers on Amazon. I chose this one because the price was fair (The price I paid was 109.00. I Don't know why the review is saying it's 199.00 now) it's well designed, and comes with a really nice recipe book. There are only 2 pieces to clean, a basket and what the basket sits in. You can just fill the 2 pieces with hot water and soap to sit a few minutes and then wipe it clean. Super easy. Since you use little to no oil, the inside of the machine always stays clean. I've tried wiping it down inside but there just isn't any residue. Perhaps if you used a fattier cut of meat or more oil there would be a slight amount of residue inside.Attached picture: Air "fried" potatoes. Raw to perfect in 15 mins. ½ teaspoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, seasonings.

So... this happened:
As you can see from my original review below, I LOVE so many things about this air fryer. However, then this happened (see photos). The non-stick coating has been peeling off the fryer pan and even now the base pan. I use NO abrasives of any kind to clean it. It just peels off. It looks terrible, and of course I can't put my food directly on the pan anymore or risk ingesting flakes of non-stick coating! So I've had to purchase air fryer liners (yes, they are available on Amazon. They are $5.99 for 100, which lasts me about a month. That's $72 per year spent on liners... seems it would be more economical to just junk this one and buy a better quality air fryer! I'm very, very disappointed, and I'm still using it because of the reasons stated below in my original review before it started peeling. This was my original review:I bought this particular model simply because it was the cheapest on Amazon when I decided I had to have an air fryer. You know when you think you have all the gadgets you could ever possibly need and quite a few you don't need? And you should probably be getting rid of some, rather than buying new ones? Well... even if you are that person (I was/am), if you are considering getting this air fryer even the slightest little bit - GET IT!! Seriously, I would give up my iPhone before I'd get rid of this thing! It changed my life! I don't use my oven anymore! I threw out my old toaster oven!! It's so easy, so fast, and so clean... it just makes cooking such a breeze! I think this changed my life. Really. Take a package of bacon. Open it. Put it in the air fryer. Turn it on. 15 minutes later - voila- crisp bacon with CLEAN bacon grease collected in the pan below. No smoke, no fuss, just amazing. Take a steak. Stick it in the air fryer. Maybe sprinkle on a little salt and garlic powder. Turn it on. 11 minutes later. Medium. Perfect. Delicious. Rinse the pan and basket quickly - clean in a second. I put mine in the dishwasher once a week but really, you just have to rinse it out with a sponge and a drop of dish soap. Hamburger. Place in air fryer. Turn it on. A few minutes later, eat. You don't need your stove, a spatula, or any fat other than what's in the meat. No muss, no smoke, no grease all over the kitchen EVER. It's like magic. And everything tastes great and comes out just the way you like it! For meat, start with fewer minutes and see how long it takes the "fryer" to get it to your desired done-ness. For me, a steak of regular thickness takes about 11 minutes to come out perfectly medium. Obviously less or more time to get where you want to go. But it's so easy to check - just pull out the drawer, and push it back in to resume cooking. Okay, seriously, you need this. Everyone needs this. Any drawbacks? If you are a big group or family, you have to cook in batches. This will only cook a few hamburgers at a time, for instance, or a couple of chicken breasts. But on the other hand, they cook in a handful of minutes so it's not that big a deal. But if you cook for only one or two, and you have a life, or want a life, GET THIS!!!!

Beware of exorbitant shipping costs, but a great Airfryer.
This is a great Airfryer. It does sweet potato fries, tofu & a myriad of other foods. The shipping however was nearly the price of the unit. My fault for not paying attention
