Great Bazaar Swad Garam Masala, 14 Ounce

Quality product. I will buy again.

I make a basic madras type sauce using only this, a bit of turmeric, dash of jolokia powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder. I blend fresh/canned/or a combo of both/ tomatoes, and onion, in the food processor. Olive or grapeseed oil in the pot, pour in the tomato mix, heat, then turn off the heat and add the spice blend and stir.Some recipes call for a small amount, like a teaspoon or two, I probably do about 2 tablespoons, as it's the main spice ingredient. Just add to taste. Your taste - not anyone else's. Screw them, man!

Very nice flavor. Better than other brands. I prefer swad even to homemade GM

Great product, but be careful and add this at the end so it does go bitter after long exposure to heat.

No cardamom in this, which is a bit surprising. It does have a very cinnamon-like aroma. It's a friendly, low-key masala for your curries.
