Tenn Well Colored Raffia Ribbon, 3/16 inch by 328 Feet Matte Paper Craft Ribbon for Gift Wrapping, Gift Box Packing, Party Decor and Craft Projects

This ribbon is pretty, colorful, and strong. You get quite a good amount of it. The different colored strands come pressed together tightly; you can use it this way, as a single multi-colored twine or tease the individual colored strands apart. I did both, pulling the single strand around a package and teasing out the individual color strands in the bow. I would buy this again.

The raffia itself is colorful and strong. We lost a lot of it just trying to find the end of the spool and ended up having to cut it at a random spot to be able to use it. If it weren't for that I would have rated this higher. It can't be that difficult to simply leave the end tucked under at the top or with a tab so that customers aren't faced with a Rubik cube type puzzle searching for it.

It took a moment to find the end of the ribbon but once I found it, it was easy to use. The roll stayed together, no unraveling, and it was easy to tuck the end back into the roll, where it stayed. I hadn’t used raffia before but I’m glad I bought it. The ribbons are woven together (or maybe just stuck together) but that made it easy to tie knots. I used the ribbon as is- right off the roll, and I also separated/untangled the ribbons so that the colors could be seen more clearly and would fan out a little. The colors are just what I was looking for. The colors aren’t as muted as pastels, nor are they bright or neon. Just the perfect shade.

This is great for wrapping gifts (I get compliments every time I use it for that), and I also used it to decorate for my May Day party. It's plenty long to last a long while. Sometimes the strands break easily, but there are so many that it doesn't really matter and still looks cool.

I got this to gift wrap orders for my etsy in a sustainable way and it's perfect. Strong, vibrant, playful. I've also used it for wrapping herb bundles and it burns beautifully without an odor.

I bought this to tie around a shoe box but even with it being loosely tied around, it was shredding just from light pulling to make a proper bow. I most likely would not buy again because it was falling apart by the time I gave out my gifts.
