A Modern Vintage Watch
Purchased 6/24/17 from Amazon partner Dexclusive for $759.00.Model 027/3500.00.One could call the Junghans Max Bill a modern vintage watch because of its:Hard plexiglass crystal instead of sapphire or mineral “glass”.Lack of date complication.38 mm size.Bauhaus styling.Modern elements include:Automatic winding feature, in addition to hand winding (and hacking).Environmentally friendly luminous “Super Luminova” hands and quarter hour pips.Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement.Sicralan MRL UV coating on the plexiglass crystal for increased scratch resistance and UV and chemical resistance.Prompt and well-packaged delivery from Dexclusive. After a little over two months of ownership, I’ve had nothing but enjoyment from this watch.I replaced the factory buckle with a deployant clasp to spare the calfskin strap from getting worn out prematurely. Since the Junghans buckle is not signed, it is a subtle change no one else will notice.Wikipedia has interesting information on Max Bill and the Bauhaus movement. This is a watch with pedigree and history.

Four Stars
I liked the style overall, but few days later, I spotted a stain in the dial

You won’t stop looking at it, I find that very annoying
It’s a great watch. Simple, sophisticated, great movement, domed, and timeless. What else do you need. It’s been holding +/- 4 seconds every day.

the heat resistance of the glass is pretty weak. It's neat but it's definitely not worth ...
I sent it to my boyfriend on last Valentine Day. On this August ( he only wore for 6 months), the glass on dial plate literally cracked SUDDENLY.We were travelling around Sothern California and he was wearing all the time. Obviously, the heat resistance of the glass is pretty weak. It's neat but it's definitely not worth this much money.

The design is simply timeless....I like it the more I look at it. No wonder this series has been around unchanged for so long. Incredible. Thanks!

Glass Cracked after 5 months...but lovely watch
Ordered on Dec 17, 2015 as a xmas gift for myself. :) Love the watch. It works well and the design is superb. Sadly, the glass has cracked (wasn't dropped or slammed).

Simple, less is more.
It’s a beautiful, simple, and extremely well made watch. I was a little hesitant about the quality the leather strap, but when I saw it in person all my doubts went away. The design aesthetic of the watch is so simple and functional, I love it.Other than the watch, I also want to compliment the retailer, the process was super smooth and I actually received the watch earlier than promised.

Grazie Amazon!

Otherwise a beautiful timepiece.
Mine came with a cracked crystal that kept getting bigger. Got Amazon to refund it. The watch seems to have a problem with this. Otherwise a beautiful timepiece.
