Sally at the Farm (Sally Board Books)

.. and especially if you have a black lab, then this book IS a must. Just replace Sally with your dog's name and - ta-da - your kid will be thrilled to have a story book about the family dog in her/his collection. We also switched the yellow lab's name in the book with a real life yellow lab that our black lab is friends with. Kid loves this book and even tries to get our dog to read it.

Beautiful, vibrant colors my babu loved, but story was so empty. Didn’t want to spend this much just on pretty pictures.

Gave it to my year old great granddaughter who loves making all the animal sounds.
