Love this author
Love this author! I think the concepts she puts forth In this books are foundational for human development. A very wise woman. Modern life omits such human needs and natural spiritual growth. So glad I read this.

outdoors activities
I would suggest the author write the parents or the caretaker instead of the mother. In my opinion, every adult taking care of a child should be willing to go out and play :)) Ideas for outdoor activities are quite interesting .

So inspiring to get the kids outside! I loved this book.
I loved how she believes in developing the children's observational skills so early on and so well. This book was really inspiring as far as getting the kids outside in the fresh air, and showed me how to develop these wonderful observational skills to help the children really experience outside life and nature, in full.I believe that more than outdoor skills children need algebra etc. so I wouldn't base my entire homeschool around this idea but I love outdoor time for a filler in between book learning.

inspirational
A truly inspirational and timeless guide to a happy, flourishing childhood. A perfect antidote to the often sterile device-addicted experiences of so many contemporary children. Children belong to the natural world, to fields, trees, parks, open skies, the rich panoply of all living things as companions to their growth. It's often so hard for families to step out of the urban context, but if it can be managed just a little at weekends and holidays, something so healing and so sound will be imprinted on them as a base for their whole future happiness.
