Huanyu120mm Glass Petri Dish with Lids High Borosilicate Glass Petri Dishes Bacterial Culture Dishes for Lab Science Experiment (5pcs: 120mm)

I have nothing to compare them to so I cannot respond to the value for the money, other than I saw some that were much more expensive. They are about what I expected and I gave the a 4 for overall rating because I intend to used them under a microscope and the glass has waves in the that distort the object enough it will not focus if looking through the lid. The waves are part of the manufacturing process so are probably unavoidable. Without the lid, as the majority of my work will be, they are exactly what I was looking for. The sturdiness is an odd question for a glass object. This bottom and lid mesh wonderfully, which should prevent evaporation of the alcohol or water in the dish when not under the scope. Time will tell.

The glass is thick and very durable. My only gripe is the top piece (the cover) is much larger than the bottom piece. I’d prefer if the 2 pieces fit a little tighter. When using Parafilm you really have to try and stretch more towards the bottom to fill the gap between the 2 pieces.

Arrived in the mail with decent packaging. Seem to be everything you could ask for in a basic glass petri dish. I accidentally dropped one and it shattered as expected. Haven't been brave enough to test them with thermal shock. They don't seem to be thick enough to resist that though.

Overall, the Petri dishes are very nice! Glass is always better than plastic. But glass has its own issues, it’s very easy to break. Upon arrival, one of the dishes was broken. Im sure it happened during the shipping process or something, but overall nice product

Well padded. No breakage.

The five 60mm petri dishes arrived promptly from Amazon and were exceptionally well packed. Each was in an individual box and the five boxes were well padded inside a larger box. All glass dishes were received intact.I use these little dishes to hold specimens (rocks, insects, plants, etc.) for viewing with a stereo microscope. Using the dishes helps me manage the samples, move them as needed, and it helps keep the microscope stage clean. These are just the dishes I needed.

Absolute rubbish. Lids are far too big for the bottoms and don’t line up properly so impossible to parafilm properly. Don’t waste ya money

Very nicely made and packaged. Real value for money. Just sterilising them now for use. But really impressed with the items.

Each dishes has some glass defect in the bottom or small scratch (and even finger print).Lid is much bigger than the base of the plate, lids are way too loose, allowing for contamination.Not great quality for lab purpose....will return.

Got the plates quick they are all individually wrapped and boxed. Dispite this got 2 with fractures.The seller includes a contact card and got back too me right away! We worked it all out and it was a positive experience.The plates will work for what I need and are a good size. I'd definitely use this seller again if I need more
