It's a Nice Orange
Ok, so I absolutely LOVE Orange. And so as a Fountain Pen user Orange Ink is a good option for me. This one is pretty vibrant but not neon-ish. I like it and I will continue to buy it until/unless I find something better.

Nice orange color
I wanted to try an orange ink, and I was well satisfied with the color, it is nice and bright, not like a burnt orange or a pumpkin color, more like a ripe orange peel. The ink performed perfectly, quick drying and no skipping or blobs, just like ink should.

Makes Your Writing Beautiful . . . .
I've never used J. Herbin inks before, and I can now say that I am a convert. I love these inks! I only have two colors so far, the Orange Indien and the Vert Olive, but I intend to buy pretty much all of them as time goes on. The Orange Indien is a bolder color than Noodler's Apache Sunset. The Vert Olive is a pleasant olive green that is beautiful on my ivory paper. They flow nicely over paper and don't feather. Dries fast. They are easy to clean from the nibs. And I love the cute bottles they come in (glass with a built-in pen holder). Definitely keeping the bottles when the ink runs out.

Super smooth to write with and layers into shades with each stroke the way quality inks do. Love this color although it was a bit less saturated than I’d wanted. That isn’t the fault of the ink — it’s a bright, transparent, rich burnt orange shade just like the photos. The bottle is elegant and doesn’t tip over. Seller packaging perfect and a great price. A fun, smooth, bright ink that doesn’t gum up your nib!

A Subtle Orange Ink
Ink writes smoothly and dries quickly. It isn't as intense an orange as I was expecting. If you are looking for a shocking orange this isn't for you. If you want a subtle, mild mannered orange that is relatively transparent, you'll like this ink a lot.

excellent ink
My first experience with Herbin inks -- I'll buy more. While the colour (Orange Indien) was a little lighter than I expected, it's no one's fault. Good ink -- I'll keep using it. Writes a touch dry, at least in my Visconti and Pilot 912, but only a little -- not a problem, but because it's a little dry with these pens the lines are just a little thin -- makes my M nibs write like an F.

Bellissimo colore
Colore bellissimo.

Encre subtile voir... envoutante !
