50801 1/16 x 10"/1/2 lb Welding Electrode

Didn't know what to expect when attempting to weld an old commercial stainless dish sink that I couldn't really clean the under side. It did burn through fairly easy, but just doing a little at a time seemed to work .not sure if it's the slag or contamination but the black stuff was hard to remove.

Worked perfect for putting my stainless exhaust on my duramax van. I weld for a living and these are my favorite rods I ever used . Being 309l I could weld the sstainles steel exhaust hangers to the frame and then seam weld the exhaust all with the same rod . They run super smooth

I am new to welding and very new to "stick" welding. These rods are the 'training wheels' I needed. I've got an El Cheapo low-amp welder and these work great on the thin gauge, hobby-stuff I've been learning on. These arc well and are pretty forgiving. I am gonna get a bunch more 'til I figure out what I'm doing. Good purchase, arrived right away. They're kind of expensive, but I'm not wasting the bigger rods and blowing right through my thinner metals.

That's a great welding sticks and easy for use ok small projects

Easy to strike, works great on disimilar steels, thin gauge, and the slag is the most self lifting ive ever seen. When the time comes that im low on this ill order more for sure.

These electrodes were lifesavers. Needed to weld some 0.04 stainless into a tube. I lowered the amps on my little welder and these worked perfectly, no burn through. Highly recommend to anyone welding stainless every now and then.

En la descripcion dice q es casi un kilo 0.9K, lo me llego no es ni medio kilo, en fin lo compre para hacer pruebas dado q quiero soldar una lamina y con el de 3/32 quemo la lamina, voy a probarlo pero de entrada esta mal el peso.

Hands down easier, least amount of slag easy welding. hobby welder rods.
