Good product and great price
I got this slam ball for $41 with free shipping. The quality is almost as good as any slam ball and it costs about 50% less. It's a very versatile fitness tool that can be used for power training or conditioning. One of my favorite combos is medicine ball clean, thruster, overhead slam, burpee with hands on ball, deadlift, drop ball and repeat. Do thirty of those in a row and you're done! I wish they made a 50 lb and 100 lb ball also.

Takes a beating
This slam ball is great, you'll get a great workout with this thing. Just keep in mind that this ball has no bounce so you are limited to slaming it or tossing it to a partner as a pose to bouncing it off a wall and catching it on the rebound like other types of balls. I've slammed this thing as hard as possible onto my concrete garage floor and its holding up great. Solid quality ball.

It works!
I bought this for home use. I have used some high quality slam balls through the years, and know that they can be expensive. I was happy to see such an economical option and decided it was worth the risk to have a home option.I want to point out that I'm the only person using this, and I'm using it at home on a rubberized floor. I do intend to take this out and use it on blacktop once weather gets nicer, but for right now I'm babying this thing just to watch for signs of wear and tear. The material is stiffer than I'm used to seeing, and when you are smashing something a little flexibility helps. No problem so far, but it is something I will be watching.I didn't weigh the ball, but I don't make the assumption that this is a calibrated tool either. Within 10% of the stated weight is a reasonable expectation, and it feels about right.Taking a star off because I'm not sold on the durability, but at the price it is worth the gamble. I'm also not sure that this would hold up under group use, or in a gym setting where some moron will likely use it for the wrong reason. So if you are a personal trainer buying for clients, maybe buy one and test before stocking up.

WORKS! and its cheap!
This ball was great. I've had a few and they burst but so far this one has taken the slams on a carpeted cement floor with no problem. Feels like its slightly deflated to avoid popping, makes it hard to grab sometimes when I am tired but I am REALLY nitpicking. The thing is exactly what it is supposed to be. A slam ball that so far works great and at at a cheap price.Update: After 3 months of fairly easy use the ball developed a leak. I was annoyed because I was using it on carpet and while I wish I was, I am NOT that much of an animal in the gym. Anyway, was looking for yet another company that might have a ball that would last a while and figured I would email a photo of the rip, maybe they could improve on the manufacturing or something....... Within a day Valor Fitness emailed me back, asked for proof of purchase and immediately put a new one in the mail, all for free. Plus the owner of the company is a big supporter of veterans in Fla. So as a retired Marine, that plus awesome customer service this company will always have my business from now on if I can give it to them.

Good Product
Decent product and material appears durable. Got my work out done with no problems slamming this ball on to a concrete floor with a mat. This ball does not bounce high (which is what i wanted) which is great for my workout when you slam it, it bounces once, and you catch it in a squat position. I would definitely buy it again, for its price its a decent buy.

The ball has an excellent rubber grip
So far, positive feedback. The ball has an excellent rubber grip. It is easy to catch and throw. I weighed it, and it is exactly 30.0 lbs. It has a port that appears that you can blow it up with a bike pump if needed, although I have not tried that. It is filled with sand, so the weight does kinda lean to the one side, but it isn't as bad as many medicine balls I have used, and it is honestly better than I feared. I have not slammed it, and probably never will. I don't see the purpose of slam exercises, what's the point of using gravity to help throw a ball down to the ground? That exercise is over-rated, and is only popular for the theatrics and noise. Why not use cable crunches, or throw the ball upwards from a crunch position? I also use medicine balls for overhead ball throws while laying on the ground, which forces you to work against gravity and I think that provides a better exercise, much like a plyometric version of a straight-arm pullover. I'll try to update this review after more hours of use.

Does what it is supposed to do
Bought the 20 pounder back in 2017...have used it couple times a week...it hits the ground, doesn’t bounce, doesn’t burst...I will say it is a little slicker than I’d care for. I have a TRX 40 pound slam ball and the grips on the TRX are much better once you get sweaty...

great workout
This ball is perfect for your HIIT workouts and cardio to burn calories. Do not use on sidewalk concrete as it will scuff and wear down the outer coating on the ball. Use on smooth surface.
