Monster Musume Vol. 16

I have bought volumes 1-16 plus the dvd collection and i have to say its getting really boring. the main character needs to just get some action! like seriously! He is just another pretty boi surrounded by a harem but never gets the deed done. granted the artwork of this series really got me and i thought he was gunna get some non stop monster action.....buuuut again and again he fails to do so imma leave this broken record of a series and look for a main character who can at least get some monster action. then a story that just tacks on meaningless characters and Oh that happened...pfft boring. sure if looking at half naked monster girls is your thing without any story, go ahead an buy it.

When I first glanced at this volume, I wasn't sure I would like it. Fortunately, I once I started reading, it proved to be a good story and I am giving it 4.5 stars. Kimihito and the ladies have been asked to help out at Yukio's resort, which has become the in place for human-monster girl match ups. We meet a wide variety of species and men with different motivations. One really nice chapter has three shy guys who doubt whether they can find girls who would be into them. Rachnee has to deal with her fellow arachne, who are having major issues. There is a bonus chapter starring the blood-sucking monster girls we met in Volume 12. My criticism is that we did not see Yukio's neighbor Ils; she's a favorite of mine and it's been a few years since her last appearance (I mean, Cathyl and Merino showed up and Ils would have been just down the road). At least we won't have to wait a year for Volume 17; it is scheduled to come out in May.

I saw that this vol of MonMusu got a couple of bad reviews and I am not too sure why. I really enjoyed this volume even if it was more of a side story. Was it the best vol out of the entire series? No but compared to other vols that are just side stories like vol. 14 for example (which is just a fetish fest and my least favorite vol) it was really good. It was one of the more sexualized volumes for sure but it was really entertaining because a majority of the vol involves horny monsters girls having the mood killed by the main gang. While the main gang isn't a huge focus in this vol we get introduced to a variety if different monster girl designs which I really enjoyed. If this volume was turned into part of the anime it would probably just be a one episode ova because it is just a bunch of filler hijinks. Either way if you are a true monmusu fan I think you'd like this vol.

Let me say first off, I love this series. I own all the manga including the spinoffs and will be buying future volumes. That said, this volume is by far the worst the series has been. This volume revolves around the main group working at the snowy hot springs. They're trying to keep hanky panky from happening between the monster girls and human guests (which of course they ultimately fail to do mostly.) Not only are most of the stories not about the main characters really but they're also pretty boring on top of it. You'll find plenty of the series usual ecchi content but this arc just seems to lack focus on what it was trying to achieve in my opinion. In the end, there was no real point to the main characters even being there as they really didn't stop much from happening. The farm arc was also pretty poor (though this was by far worse) and I hope we get off this jobs kick and get back to other things in the series soon.

This issue was a good one! Plenty of adorable scenes, some of which don't even focus on the main cast of characters. The eye candy in this volume is superb if slightly heavy handed, but it's tempered with enough humor that it never crosses into full hentai territory.

Sadly, this was the first volume in the series that I didn’t particularly enjoy. There wasn’t enough of the main cast, and all the scenes didn’t gel into the usual interesting plot. To me, this was just an expensive interlude, or perhaps an intermission. Worth skipping this one until the next comes out. I did give it an extra star for the artwork, which I felt was up to the usual standard of excellence of the previous volumes.

Really enjoyed this volume. I love they way how it branched out and we saw some new characters and some old ones as well. Every volume could be written about hot spring matchmaking and I would be all for it.

This book was better than the last in my opinion as it explores even more new monster girls which is always nice to see. As a fan of many mythical Japanese spirits, it's nice to see some additional attention.Don't expect to see a focus on the regular gang as much though, which is a shame for me as I am placed firmly in Camp Papi, but it's certainly got a nice variety.It also has a really nice bonus story which was very much appreciated. Very worth it.Continues to be my favourite manga series ever.

This ongoing story is just fun to read. This time we have the chapters from the return to the hot Waters and all of the nonsense that they find trying to make it a better place.

One of my favorite manga series! I can actually make me laugh out loud when reading and we'll lets be honest there's some sexyness in there so really, whats not to like!

I love the series. It's just silly goofy fun. If you want a serious story you will be disappointed since this is a very will they won't they harem manga with a lot of fan service
