ParluxParlux Eco Friendly 3800 Dryer, White (parlux3800)

I placed an order for the Parlux Eco Friendly 3800 Dryer after purchasing the Drybar Buttercup from a retail store - and hating it. The Parlux Eco Friendly was out of stock, so a GoGorgeous representative kindly called discuss the various Parlux models that were available for immediate shipment. I settled on the Parlux 385 Power Light in white (it is available in many colors). AND I LOVE IT!I hated the Buttercup. The cord is unwieldy, the dryer doesn't get hot and the barrel is very long, making it difficult to work with. After using the Buttercup for over a week, I realized just how much I disliked it. So I researched and read tons of dryer reviews (Harry Josh, Sedu, Velecta and Parlux, etc.) Then I noticed my stylist and a colleague both using similar Parlux models. My stylist said this was his second Parlux, the first having died after seven years of daily use (on countless heads, six days a week).I LOVE the Parlux 385 Power Light. It is truly lightweight (not just "marketing-speak-lightweight"), the dryer gets nice and hot, but also has a lower heat setting and a cool-shot button. It comes with two concentrator nozzles, one slightly wider than the other; and has two speeds to adjust the flow of air. This allows me to use the lower air setting with the higher heat setting to lock in volume and waves.I can't tell you how much easier my Parlux dryer is to work with compared to the Buttercup. A close friend has the Harry Josh and I've had the opportunity to use it. My Parlux is much less expensive than the Harry Josh but is fundamentally the same size and - I believe - a much better dryer. Super, super happy with this purchase AND with the fantastic customer service from GoGorgeous!

This blow dryer is the bomb. It magically dries your hair in less time and less frizzing while at the same time making less noise! In true Italian form it's like the Ferrari of blow dryers.UPDATE: 12/8/2018It still works great and my life still loves it. I bought this blow dryer for her because her old one was so loud, it literally hurt my ears (and frankly I was worried about her going deaf before we reached old age). This one sounds good to me.UPDATE 01/21/2022Still going… works as good today as it did the first day she bought it.

Such a powerhouse dryer plus light in weight.I want another!

I bought this after comparing reviews of a lot of models and I am not disappointed. Better quality and as noisy as my previous one.

Best hairdryer out there. This is my second (I dropped my other one multiple times and it eventually broke). This hairdryer is fast and very attractive. Love the white color!

Nothing compared to any other dryer. Lightweight but you feel there’s something in your hand and it does its job fast!

The heating element was flawed, died in 10 months. used by one person every other day.

I'm a big fan of this brand and I did a lot of reading before I spent the money on this blow dryer . After 4 months it is not blowing the same way :( t is very week and not at all like when I first bought it.it took me a while to reach out to amazon . I was told to reach out to the manufacturer due to my delay and I've never heard back :( so disappointed because my hair dryer prior to this was amazing and it was the same brand . this one not so good and I love that it is light but I did not have a good experience unfortunately .
