CricutTRIMMER 12" DK GRAY

We replaced our old paper cutter with this. The old one we used for yearsWe didn’t know what we were missing. This is so smooth and cuts so well! No tugging or tearing! Clean cuts!

I was searching through amazon for a trimmer as I cut and frame diamond paintings I have done, and especially paperstock sheets to mount them on. I can rarely use this to cut a side of a diamond painting, not that it can't cut it (it can!), but a lot of times the outside row of diamonds isn't pin straight, plus trying to get it to butt up to the cutter while it's so tall (from diamonds) is too hard. If you are doing a partial that has already printed boarders, this blade will sail through that with no problem!I find it difficult to cut a straight line with scissors, so this is a lifesaver! You can swing the arm out (or not), press your paper against the bumper line, line up the cutter, then press and slide. Voila! Perfect straight cut.Plus it is fairly lightweight and doesn't take up a whole lot of space.I highly recommend this!

The media could not be loaded.  I love this thing oh my gosh it is such great quality and it works perfect I can't believe I was using scissors before... The only thing is it did not say how to bring the arm out on the side which makes it a game changer I didn't even know that thing was there and it was very snuggly set so I had to basically pull it out thinking I was going to break it but it didn't break it works perfect it should come with some instructions I think but it works awesome. Ots light weight but sturdy!

Perfect for what I need it- I just cut a large letter sized paper down into 4 pieces for thank you notes that I send with items purchased from my Etsy shop. It cuts well and clean.I did see people complaining about being being able to measure the correct size and I guess that could be an issue, but I generally just make a little fold so that I know where halfway is. It works for me. The most important thing to me was to have it cut a nice, clean cut so that it looks neat.I like it a lot and recommend it

I could not be happier with this trimmer! I got it for cutting card bases after struggling with a Fiskars version that cost more than twice the price of this cutter. I have purchased and been happy with many fine Fiskars products but using the extended arm on the trimmer I had gave me crooked cuts most of the time. so frustrating! I saw a review of this trimmer on a video and gave it a try. Very lightweight but this cuts straight! No more wasted expensive cardstock! I use heavyweight cardstock and it cuts beautifully. Blades are replaceable and I have already ordered replacements to have on hand. I'm so very pleased with the performance of this mighty trimmer and the low cost is an added bonus.

UPDATE 2/5/22: Rigged up C clamp with self-stick felt pads on the clamping parts and am using that to hold down the clear bar at the near end. So far it seems to work well to keep the paper from slipping. (Still prefer the old green one but it is what it is.)ORIGINAL REVIEW 12/26/21: Had the older green Cricut portable trimmer and loved it, but could not get replacement blade for it.Bought a Signature “Recollections” trimmer and hated it. Could not get an accurate cut.This one is ok but unlike my old one, the guide piece that holds the blade does not lock down so you have to hold it down firmly with one hand while cutting with the other. Since my right hand doesn’t work well (stroke) this isn’t easy. But my project is finished so no need to experiment with taping or something to hold it more firmly. Also it slightly scratched the glossy surface of photos, but another customer said she fixed that problem by using a cover sheet.Wish I could get blades to fit my old green Cricut! Now THERE was a trimmer.

I purchased and returned 2 other trimmers before finally finding this one. Yes, it's more expensive than some of the others, but SO worth it. It cuts perfectly straight each time, with a nice clean edge. I only cut one piece of 67lb card stock at a time, so I can't attest to heavy duty use, but this checks all the boxes for a portable, easy to use paper trimmer.

If it’s your first time using one of these and you get one half of the paper is bigger than the other, check that the size of the paper is correct. Mine was actually 8.7 x 11! So check that your measurements are correct and I think you will find this to be extremely useful and really handy for many projects :) I have not found any difficulties with it yet.

Als ich das Teil das erste Mal in der Hand hatte, dachte ich zunächst, dass kann doch nichts werden - so leichtes Plastik, doch ich sollte eines besseren belehrt werden.Die Schneide ist so scharf und schneidet so akkurat bis zum Ende des Papiers.Trotz leichtem Plastiks ist die Verarbeitung gut und es schneidet, wie es soll.Die Notlösung ist nun im Dauereinsatz.

La verdad que dudé en comprarla por dos o tres críticas que había en la página, pero la he usado y la verdadque me ha parecido que cortaba bastante bien y era fácil usarla.No se han enganchado las hojas, ni se han despellejado.......De todas formas sólo lo he probado con vinilo.Con otros materiales no os puedo decir.

What a great buy been using trimmers for many years and this is the best ever I love it .Cuts perfect no frayed edges etc watched May May crafter on YouTube demonstrating and after that gave up the search and decided to purchase it was everything she said one of my most recent best crafting buys 10/10 from me .
