Fun and safe to play with
The smallest size is only really suitable for a baby or if you wanna pretend you have knifes , the medium is like a small machete , the large is a normal one handed sword for an average sized adult for a child the large will be a cool 2 handed sword. The extra large is a really awesome long sword almost identical lengths to a lightsaber so if you want to fight with lightsabers but not be hit my hard plastic go with these. It is made of nice soft foam with a pvc core and only hurts if you swing full force to someone’s eardrum or eyes for example.

Good sword for play sparring..
We use these for tai chi practice. So far they are working very well. There are positives and negatives. The good thing is the inner PVC pipe does not go the very tip.. It goes until the black part. This give good reference with using this as a straight sword as you would not do block with the soft tip of a straight sword. Also less likely to hurt someone with the tip since there is no pipe in it. I do wish which the pvc did extend a bit more then it does to help with the tip structure.. For practicing as a broad sword I would use there other product which the pvc goes all the way to the end and is a bit thicker. We have these as well. Have fun...

Puts the Fun in Functional.
I have bought these padded swords from tiger claw twice in the past.They lasted about a year of going at it on the weekends with me and my son in the yard whacking and blocking eachother, trying to beat eachother to the slash.He loves to play sword fights and we started when he was nine or ten with these swords. We got another set when he was eleven or twelve and I am back for my third. He doesn't go easy and usually wins.After a while of being left in the yard, or the amount of rough use, the swords slowly deteriorate, and we tell ourselves we need to get new ones. I have tried one or two other kinds of swords from amazon, but non feel as good to use and as safe to be bopped by as these ones.They may be a bit pricy, but hey, you got to pay to play for some things in life. The seller is responsive and actually sent out longer swords to me in exchange once when the ones I purchased were too short.
