Kjeldsens Danish Butter Cookies 1lb.

Are they really different? Yes. Here's how: Every corner store in the States has the same $2 round tins of similar-looking and similar-tasting butter cookies. They get more commonplace during the holidays and everyone more or less tolerates the actual cookies inside. Perhaps even more commonplace is that we all know someone who has repurposed the empty tins as sewing boxes or maybe even refilled them with other (tastier) treats. But let me assure you that while those tins and these tins may look similar on the outside, they are NOT holding the same quality cookies inside. I could taste the richness of real butter at the very first bite of these. They are actual shortbread, and each style is slightly different in its sweetness, texture, crispness. One variety even has actual currents baked in! They are all different and lovely little sweet buttery morsels and I'm bummed it took me 40 years to taste the real thing for the first time. Give these a try. Worse that can happen is you end up giving them away to coworkers while enjoying your brand new sewing tin.

The cookies are delicious. Minor are crushed but most are fine. But I don’t recommend it for :1) I cannot say that it is much more tasty than Danisa butter cookies, which is of lower price on Amazon. In fact, I cannot distinguish flavor of these two brand. So kjeldsen is older but not more impressive. Second I see a larger tin of kjeldsens cookies in store and priced as 10.99, while I just bought this for 14.99. The extra money was for postage I guess. Well, I thought I already paid that with prime. This tin is about the size of a shallow 8 inch cake. But the one in store was about 10 inch big. Get this if they charge you less than 9 dollar.

I've been ordering different Danish cookies, trying to find the perfect ones that I recall from the past. These are it!!!!! Don't order any other, nothing matches the flavor, richness and quality of these cookies. Everyone else is an imitator!!!!

No complaint about the product itself but the delivery process is subpar. Cookies came broken and was not presentable to guests.

I’ve been searching for the correct ones for a while. These taste close but the texture is too much like a shortbread and they’re lacking the size color and signature sugar crystals.

The butter cookies were fresh, the can was wrapped well and I'd buy from the Seller again.
