Love them, but for a CON or two...
First - I love Simax products, they are designed well, not heavy but they also don't break easily.Whilst I do love my set, there are a few things I would suggest to others who are considering purchasing these: 1) The smaller of the two (2 cup measure) gets hot as the dickens when you microwave anything. 2) The measurements are primarily in metric - so if you are not familiar with the metric system, just be aware that while the ounces ARE listed, they do not break it down into cups so you have to do some simple math every time you use it.Personally, I would suggest only buying the larger (4 cup) measure as it has a handle and the smaller amounts are still easily determined.

Nicely Made. A whole lot better than I would expect for a utility item like this.
Essentially a beaker with a handle and a beaker without a handle. The handle fits my largish hand comfortably. The wall thickness is ~1.75 mm (0.07 inch). The screen printing of the graduations is good quality and easily read. The meniscus of 1,000 grams of tap water at 71°F sits exactly at the upper edge of the 1,000 ml line.A whole lot more accurate than I would expect for a utility item like this.It does not break when I boil broth in it in the microwave. Its' much lighter than a regular measuring cup and will certainly be less resistant to banging around.January 2022:Still going strong. These are very good quality.

Love These!
I bought these to expand my treat and candy making adventures. . .I needed a tall glass measuring cup that would be lightweight yet sturdy and easy to clean. . . these measuring cups have become a favorite of my husband's as well in the kitchen! I might need to buy another set!

Measuring cup
I really like the weight and durability considering the thickness of the cup. I don’t like how it does not have ounces or cups? So far so good.

Grams measuring cup
Because I was never taught the metric system in U.S. schools it is great to have a cup with grams printed on the side.

Junk
I received my measuring cups already broken, they are so thin and fragile I can't imagine they would have been able to be used with hot liquids. Customer service for a return/refund is not great, the status says they were received on 1/19, but my refund won't he issued until 1/24. Will make sure not to purchase from this seller again.

Metric and imperial units. European design
For a measuring cup/jug, they have a pretty design. The smaller cup includes metric and Imperial measures (ml and fl. oz) and gram for sugar and flour when you want to measure the volume (similar to cups) but need the weight conversion. Sugar and flour are written both in German and English. The larger jug has English, French, Czech, and German names for sugar and flour stamped on. Measurements are in metric and British Imperial as well.I like the thinner glas and used similar measuring devices previously that unfortunately broke after a few years of heavy usage. I would not use an electric mixer in the jug.My only complaint is that I received an obviously used item.

Look nice but not for every day ise
They look real nice but the glass is thin and I was worried about breaking or chipping them. After using them 3 times, the markings are starting to wear off. I intended to switch from cups/oz to grams/ml in my cooking using these but I'll have to get something different that is more durable.
