Not very clear instructions as said before. Looks great though!

The sundial arrived on time. Full of expectation I unpacked it and that’s when the trouble started. I looked for the instructions and found a piece of paper with four tiny unclear drawings on it. I’m no numpty when it comes to putting things together, but this took a ten minute job an hour and a quarter. The instructions are a waste of time so, as somebody else suggested it best to try and work from the photo on the website. The package was in no way damaged yet the arrow which comes in two parts was bent. The rings don’t fit together very well which leaves some of the screws showing between the rings. The base does not accept the rings very cleanly therefore it is difficult to tighten, in fact mine still wobbles on the base. Overall I am very disappointed, if it wasn’t so awkward I would return it. If it was made well it would be a nice addition to the garden. Also, the website states a green finish, but mine is brown.. Finally, as far asI can see, it doesn’t tell the time.

This was the instruction sheet! Spent three hours trying to put this thing together at the end of which we had a choice - the river at the bottom of the garden or back in the box for a refund. Too expensive for non-recoverable frisbees so it has been returned. Absolutely awful!

If assembled according to the instructions and photos this device cannot possibly act as a sundial.I would suggest that whoever did the assembly instructions does not understand celestial mechanicsThe point of the arrow needs to be over the N on the compass ring.The XII (12 O'clock) on the time ring needs to be below the arrow point so that the arrow casts a shadow on the time ring.When the N on the compass ring is orientated to the North the arrow will point to the Pole star and be aligned with the Earth's axis of rotation. At midday the arrow's shadow will be on the XII.It is simple to reposition the rings to achieve this.

I can't say if this is good as I haven't been able to put it together. It is a surprise present for my husband so I can't ask him to do it so contacted the sellers to be told that they can't provide any further instructions ( the instructions you receive are just 4 pictures with no words) Pathetic customer service, and it ill be returned should my husband also fail to decipher it

Text is upside down om the ring. (Hour numbers are on the top side of the ring - so no shadow being cast on them) So basically, if it is assembled “as intended”, it is not usable as solar clock. More a decoration item.

Let my 19 year old son put it together.No problem at all and it gonna be so nice in our garden, when the sun and summer is back.. Impossible to set the clock without the sun, haha!!
