I see now that all of the reviews mentioning high quality of these bins seem to be from years past. The ones I got don't look like the product images. The front of the bins has big creases where the front and under side of the plastic mold are joined. They were dirty, warped, scratched, and one was chewed up in the corner.They do seem sturdy enough, and I was able to reduce the warping of the front and back because I also bought the dividers that go down the middle. This kind of pushes them back into place. But it feels like they're selling a dollar store version of the bins at original quality bin prices. I think these are going to need to go back to Amazon.

I ordered these bins to replace some Husky brand bins purchased to hold the miscellaneous plumbing supplies I have accumulated over the years. These work so much better, as they are far more sturdy and stiffer, important when you stack the bins on top of each other - the previous ones buckled and could only be used one bin high. I also like that they come in various colors, so you can use them in storage units coded by function, and in a wide variety of useful sizes.Do yourself a favor, and avoid cheap alternatives unless you are don't need much strength. Spend the money once, and you will have storage that may well last a lifetime.

Pretty good. Sturdy and allows me to organize my workshop. What I will say it’s a bit pricey. Husky sells similar containers for cheaper at Home Depot.

I've ordered several cases of Akro-Mils storage boxes in different sizes to make my studio more efficient. I am extremely please with those.I love that they have not only different width, but various depth too. So I could organize both: my Ikea book shelf cases(which I use to store the supply) and regular metal racks. Excellent quality and easy to reorganize and stack them any way you want to.Price definitely reflect the quality! Highly recommend!

All but one was in great condition. One had a broken edge, but because they are for our chickens, we will keep them. Not as thick as I would have liked, but, they are for laying boxes and I think will work well. For tools/parts, unsure.

High quality! But.... when the units are stacked it would be really difficult to get anything out of the bin. I am a woman with relatively small hands. Consider purchasing no less than 7" when buying stackables. The 5" is not great unless you are going to use these to store like items... for example, one bin would have screws, the other would have nails. We also purchased the 16.x15x7" tall and they are GREAT. VERY high quality product. Worth the price!

Akro-Mils bins is part of a small group of name brand bins which is above all others in quality. Akro-Mils bins are built to last and hold their shape. Finding cases of them on sale through Amazon for a fraction of retail cost is a double bonus. I buy several cases when I find them on sale.They are a perfect size 11'' X 11'' X 5'' tall for storing anything or to keep any room, garage, or patio organized. Best price is to buy them by the case of 6 for $36.00 around ($6.oo each) from Ceilblue. Check out pricing on all colors, some colors are cheaper than others.

Edit: The return was handled with ease, and the replacement arrived undamaged.I was very disappointed to see that 4 out of the 6 bins arrived damaged and scuffed. Several wouldn’t stack due to being warped out of shape. I’ve ordered a lot of Akro bins over the years, and I know these bins should be much more sturdy and durable than this (especially for the price).

It Akro-Mils! These are commercial standard quality and work well in any kind of shop! These fit on any of the industry standard bin racks.
