Came late due to the BUG, but seller was very quick to respond and answer my queries. About the FILTER, while their filters do not have an FFP rating (1-3) it does make sense to just buy another seperate filter from 3M, just replace the ones you get with this respirator to be confident your mask filters 99 percent of aerosols. Although i did buy seperate 3M FFP3 filters look identical in size and thickness to the ones i was provided with the mask, and they fit.

This respirator is perfect for work. As a lifeguard I’m regularly working with chemicals (chlorine) which are harmful. And I purchased these to use as PPE in our plant room (chemical room) they are adjustable so the whole team can use them, they aren’t too bulky so that they get in the way and they’re easy to take apart and reassemble for storage. Anyone working in similar fields, or just needs a respirator in general. Hugely recommend these.

I bought this for working with an incinerator which produces particulate smoke. The mask is fairly easy to assemble and feels of good quality. I paid £20 for it and I'm pleased with it for sure. The mask works and allows me to breath for short periods next to the incinerator whilst working with it and surrounding material. breathing is flawless: whereas without the mask I had to hold my breath otherwise I'd choke breathing in airborne ash. Obviously as with any filtration mask, it's only wise to use this in conditions with plenty of oxygen too. I'll also use it for my rotary metal saw, gluing and spraying chemical and/or paint. Overall, we are very pleased with the mask do I bought another one as a spare. I guess it can also be handy for filtering out airborne particles with viruses on them, which is useful for my mother going to get essential shopping as of the current conditions.Just be aware that even respiratory filters like this one don't make you immune to viruses. They also affect your eyes, and virons are small enough to pass through the filter (though in most cases they attach to moisture droplets, of which are filtered by masks such as this). This is not an NBC grade PPE, just keep that in mind.

Once you've made the necessary adjustment...This product and it's Construction is on another level, compared to whats out there, regarding PPE...BEST PROTECTION AGAINST AIRBORNE CORONA VIRUS ...

Bought this for working with MDF. Once adjusted properly was easy to breathe and I wear glasses and did not suffer from fogging up due to breath escaping from top of nose. Actually ended up wearing it longer than needed before catching reflection of myself!

It was bought for sealing the underside of a car. The wax oil is not good for lungs - this did the job. Couldn’t smell the chemicals so I guess it worked well. It’s not comfortable enough to wear shopping 😀 but for a necessary job and a fixed period of time I’m happy.

I purchased this mask a few weeks ago to wear on public transport due to recent requirements. I've been meaning to get one for work anyway so I figured I may as well.I am defiantly impressed with the product.The mask itself is reasonably comfortable; I have a large nose so it sits funny on the bridge of my nose and causes some minor discomfort, but it's easy to ignore after a while. The straps are very comfortable around the back of the head and neck, although you might need to re-thread the elastic so it's more secure as it came apart a couple of days ago when I tried to pout on the mask. An easy fix though that took about five minutes. The flexible plastic that sits on the back of the head is the perfect size and shape for me to easily fit my ponytail though as well, and I can even use it if I wear my hair in a bun (Which I often do).The filter system is excellent! I originally wanted a mask like this to use at work so I could still use certain chemicals in less ventilated areas; and this one even filters the chlorine gas given off from bleach. However proper cleaning and care of the filters is -essential- to avoid contamination. Thankfully the filters come with some plastic shielding that can reduce the risk of getting the filters wet, I've even worn this in the light and medium rain for short durations without a problem, though I wouldn't make it a common occurrence.The only downside that I've found with this mask is the condensation build-up inside the mask from breathing. For one of my jobs I have to wear it for over an hour due to the public transport requirements, and occasionally it will drip murky condensation droplets out of the exhale aperture at the front. Though this is rare, and can be avoided as long as you don't look down.However, for £21 it's a damn decent buy. Really good value for money and very effective at filtering the air you breath in. Some minor discomforts are well worth the price.

I would have given 5 stars if the mouth-nose piece was a bit softer like on a dive-mask. This would have given an even better fit. I love this mask, I know its only 95 and not 99 but its way better that a cloth or cheapie mask that are as much use as a strand of barbed wire round a beehive. You can test a good seal by blocking both valve covers. It doesnt filter outgoing breath but it is not designed to do so. Easy breating and almost no steamed up specs. May not suit small faces
