ROCKY Alpha Force Waterproof Public Service Boot, Black, Size 12(ME)

Rocky makes a quality boot boot
Rocky makes a quality boot. I have used Rocky boots for about two decades. The TMC was my go to for many years. I’m currently wearing the alpha force. They are very comfortable and last a long time. I have occasionally tried other boots and the leather just does not always last. The foot bed in the Rocky boots is very thick and might be tight to your foot until you break them in.

Great for EMTs
As an EMT it's so important to take care of your feet. Rockys are great boots. They provide me a great deal stability, they keep water out well, and they are very comfortable. However, with any expensive boots you will have to break then in. If you order the extra wide variety (like myself) they will be tight bit a few shifts will break them in. Overall, these are great boots.

Well buy again and again..
This is a great boot. I use it for work as part of my EMS uniform. I've gotten compliments about them. They look so tough too. They make you about an inch taller if you're interested in that. The fit is a little larger than other boots, so I recommend getting them a half size smaller for a snugger fit. I've purchased these boots a couple times, they last about 2 years or a little more. That works for me because I would wear them practically everyday on the job. The interior lasts and they are very comfortable. No problems standing or walking all day. I've taken these boots hiking and didn't experience any foot pain. Great boot.

They are a very good product and comfortable
They were amazing out of the box and still are. They are a little hard to lace up, one of the eyelets snags on the laces. The heels fit a little snug on the inside, I'm expecting that to loosen up as all leather does. The shoe is narrow for me, I've never had a narrow shoe, but again, as they loosen up, I'm expecting a very perfect fit. The tread is wide and will carry you through the Amazon down across the Antarctic and back up again. Sturdy, great leather, comfortable, worth the money. Small things I can note, or complain about, but I haven't found a shoe in todays world that meets perfection, have you?

Comfortable and hold up well
I am a security officer and needed to buy a new pair of boots for work. I decided to give these a try because they were on sale for a great price which I'm glad I bought them when I did, as well as being oil and slip resistant. They are comfortable and easy to get on and off compared to my other combat boots I wore for work. I would definitely recommend buying a pair of these and will be looking at them again on the future when I need new boots!

Toe box was unbearable
I bought these a few days after starting a new job that required me to walk 18-25 miles a shift. I was drawn to the advertisement of "military style" and that they'd been an established business for years. If there's one thing I can get on board with concerning hoofing, hiking, and putting on some miles, it's military gear.I was miserable for the 2 days I wore these on shift. Absolutely miserable.I ordered wide. The box they came in said they were wide. There was no way they were wide. Felt like my feet were in a bench vice. The toe box was the worst part. It felt like the toe box on each boot was pointed outward from the rest of the boot. After two 12 hour shifts of hiking through cell blocks in these boots, I was at my wit's end with these boots. I had blisters on both feet so bad that I had to scramble to the pharmacy to figure out some foot relief remedy to make it through the rest of the week and the next.I bought a pair of hiking boots at Walmart years ago, just to have some throw-aways for a weekend trip. After that weekend, I vowed that those were the worst footwear I'd ever wasted money on. I think these took the place on the mantle. Disappointed really.

They came already shined.
Great looking boot. You can tell that the insides are well designed to conform to your feet. One of the great features is that they’re sturdy, good priced, and already shined if that is part of your profession. Great looking overall boot.

Unless you have very narrow feet, get the wide
Good quality and very comfortable. Like the way the two is a bit narrow in shape, but it does make for an overall narrow boot. I got the “wide” option. It’s good, but barely. If you have EEE wide feet, don’t buy these. EE you’re okay. It’s a trade-off. I don’t want wide square looking boots because I wear them as “dress boots” with a suit. These are great.

As often stated, get the Wide.
Really comfortable, appears to be durable.I got the W expecting to have a little more give for thick socks and insoles. Turns out it's a snug fit even then. I would've had to return them for sure had others not warned me in their reviews.I'm satisfied though. They look and perform great.

This boot is perfect! Definitely the best I ever owned
It 's my first time hearing the brand Rocky but I found that it makes boots for U.S. military so I decided to give it a try.I went with the wide foot option after seeing the reviews even my feet are not so wide. And I turned out to be right. Only took a few minutes to break in.This boot is perfect! Definitely the best I ever owned. It's so soft so you won't feel like it's scratching your feet even after a few hours walking.Haven't got a chance to test how waterproof it is but I would say go with this if you are hesitating.

Really like them. Light weight and thick soles. Very comfortable. Highly recommended. Arrived on time.

Very narrow, even for a W
Size 9.5W - I should have heeded others who commented they are very narrow, despite looking really nice. I have a 10yr old pair of their oxford style shoe (reviewed on their site) which are EW and fit fine (but the soles are coming apart - already used a whole tube of shoe-goo, but there's no saving them), so I thought a W might not be that bad - nope, too tight and hurt my feet. Not sure if I should take a chance and return for a 10W or just say screw it?UPDATE: Returned item for full refund, which was quick and easy!BTW, I gave me old shoes to my roommate Larry (pictured). He seems pleased.
