CP-1 Esthetic House Magic Styling Shampoo, Self Home Hair Care (250ml)

Disclaimer: I did receive this item for free to try out. HOWEVER! All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it.I always love Korean and Japanese skincare and beauty products. It’s PRICEY though but no pricier than other Korean and Japanese shampoo and conditioner on the market. After living in Japan for a while I would only keep using the Japanese haircare products I was so used to even after I returned to the states. It was SO expensive but for good reason. Korean and Japanese products are just made differently and feels SUPER good for your hair. This shampoo is no different. Don’t make my mistake. I used the same amount as I usually do with my American branded shampoos and it really goes to show how superior the Korean haircare products are. Using the same amount with my American brands it would barely lather just enough for me to get through my shower but using that same amount with this shampoo IT WAS WAY TOO MUCH OMG MISTAKE. It lathers SO WELL. I was originally a little taken aback that this is only 250mL (8.5fl oz). So little for so much. BUT a little bit goes a long way with this stuff apparently. It smells great to me and my hair feels nice and soft now! The shampoo itself feels high quality. It’s in a squeeze tube that feels super nice and that was placed in a box that felt SUPER nice. Also unlike a lot of hair care products here in the US, they have safety seals. You have to unscrew the top and undo the seal before use, guaranteeing that it has never been tampered with. I hate that USA hair care products don’t often do that.I feel like we need to do that WAAAY more than Koreans and Japanese whose entire culture runs off a certain degree of trust and honesty. In the USA ppl mess with EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. We need more tamper seals on things. But I digress.This is great, I absolutely recommend it even though it’s pricey. Worth it though. My hair feels super nice!!!!

This shampoo is a good shampoo in regards to providing a nice lather and a thorough clean while washing your hair. It doesn’t smell fancy or good, but it also doesn’t stink so it is not something that I have a problem using. I was shocked at how well it did lather, so you don’t have to use a lot and it rinses out cleanly without leaving any residue or greasiness behind. I will say that I did not notice any difference from using this over my typical shampoo. I am still having the same amount of flyaways and occasional knots that I typically have so I cannot say that this does much in the way of taming your hair. I do feel like it is a good shampoo though, and if you are in the market for something that does seem to at least work well without any issues after using then this might be a good option for you. Overall, this is a good shampoo I just can’t say that is does what it is claimed to do in regards to managing and improving wild or damaged hair. This is a product that the consumer would have to weigh the decision based on what that are looking for and their expectations. I will use the remainder of the bottle, but I likely wont order this again for myself as it seems priced quite high for what you actually get.

Being that I love to try new skin and hair care products, when I saw this shampoo available from Vine, I requested it and here we are. This review is for: [Esthetic House] CP-1 Magic Styling Shampoo 250ml Self Home Hair Care...This shampoo arrived safely and undamaged, save for the box being slightly squashed. My hair is naturally curly and it is often a battle to straighten it. With this shampoo, straightening does seem to be easier.I only needed to use a very small amount. My hair is thin and falls just under my shoulders in length. With this shampoo, combined with my usual hair care regimen products, it is easier to blow dry the curl right out of my hair, leaving me with silky smooth, clean, and straight hair.I must admit that I'm not crazy about the scent of it, but it lathers up well and really feels like it's doing its job. Over the last week and half of using this product, I do seem to have less fly-aways and frizz. It's been raining here for a solid week and with damp, humid weather my hair frizzes at the drop of a hat. Or a drop of rain. This product did seem to help and I've been experiencing less frizz than I usually do in weather like this.Overall, I think this is a good shampoo, though your results may depend upon your hair type/ style/ and/or hair thickness. For me, it works fairly well and I'm excited to see what happens when I continue to use it. A little goes a long way with this product and that was a pleasant surprise. I 'll finish up this tube and decide from there whether or not to purchase more. As of right now, I'm satisfied and happy with this shampoo.

Based on its ingredient list and my first-time-use experience, here are my thoughts on why it's great and also why some of you should avoid it.It contains many plant proteins (wheat, soy, corn, rice, potato) and they do wonders to strengthen and repair fragile hairs. Usually, you see one of these proteins used in a hair product but not all at once. It also includes two fruit extracts that have brightening and antioxidant effects. But since they are at the end of the list, I assume the amount used is minimum. Other than that, there are a lot of added sulfate-related ingredients which explains why it is so foamy and makes your hair light and silky after use. Sulfate is widely used in shampoo but is also known to strip away moisture. I suspect if you use this regularly, it may cause drying and scalp irritation.So my conclusion is to use it if you know sulfate didn't cause you trouble in the past or your hair isn't prone to dryness. My hair tends to be quite oily so sulfate can make my hair feels very clean. Also, I wouldn't recommend using it regularly but it's a good alternative to make your hair feels refreshed and smooth once in a while. You could be paying more to pay a visit to a salon to get this effect. I wouldn't pay $20 for a small tube like this if I haven't already tried it. Overall, I think it's worth trying!
