Amazing Water Retention!
I live in Los Angeles where the water is precious and not cheap. I was reluctant to plant this year, not wanting to be stuck with a huge water bill. Nothing can replace the home grown tomatoes. My organic tomatoes look healthy, not many bugs, but what really amazes me is the exceptional water retention I got with Cinderite. I am only watering once a week. Previous years, the same location, I had to water three times a week. I mixed the recommended 15% Cinderite with the soil.

Great Soil Addition!
I purchased this product to use on my house plants. I have 4 dogs and am hesitant to use any chemicals on my plants, just in case the dogs get into them. I saw this was animal safe which is a huge deal. I added this soil to all of my house plants and they are really responding well to it! As a added bonus, I really like the look of the soil. It is a bit rocky which makes it look almost decorative. It looks awesome with my succulents. I would recommend this soil amendment to ANYONE and EVERYONE looking for a safe way to nourish their beloved plants.

Very disappointed
Didn't live up to the claims in my garden and it should for the price. I ordered this to add diversity to my soil. I searched for some info about cinderite and had trouble finding much about it. A few pros in Texas use it but honestly I am disappointed. It is supposed to repel pests because it is paramagnetic. Truthfully I got pests within days of adding this to my indoor pots. It also says it works well in hydroponics and in addition to not doing anything to repel pests it seems to crumble because I only put bigger stones in the hydroponic plants yet I keep finding tiny pieces of cinderite in the reservoir.

No bugs or insects! All organic! I loved it!
I used it for my flowers and vegetables garden and my tomatoes and other vegetables matured faster with doubled the production from last year without it. And were much more tastier. And never got any worms or insects! That was amazing! I have always had to fight off bugs!
