The cars and track pad itself are great and durable and well worth the price. The signs and plastic pieces though easily broke apart so I threw them away because at that point it was a choking hazard to my youngest.

I didn't open these before I gave them to the grandkids I let them. They were so excited. My granddaughter over the yellow bus. The littlest one thought the road mat was great to plop little bottoms on he was king of the road. The littlest ones had no problem getting the cars to move since they move almost on their on. When my older grandson came in and saw the yellow jeep he was telling us he had a jeep for his dinosaur park , then he told the littlest one's they weren't playing right and had to show them how to play with the road mat. The mat felt like a shopping bag, but strong as you can see. the cars are metal on top and plastic on bottom. They really didn't play with anything else i.e signs. But I figure it might come later. These feel like good quality toys and so far have been played with hard. These all can be put with other toys as well. They have still been playing with the cars and the littlest one is still king of the road. I hope this has helped. Thank You

This is a fun set. There are 8 vehicles, various road signs and signal lights, and a play mat that has road designs on it. Assembly was easy. There is a sticker sheet for the road signs and lights. Each plastic accessory piece is numbered to coordinate with the numbered stickers, so there was no confusion about which sticker went on which piece. The little vehicles are of good quality. I love that all the pieces, including the mat, fit neatly in the plastic box. The box is sturdy and has a convenient handle to carry it.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this set, but noticed it had more unusual looking cars included in it than your standard car-shaped toys, so I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did!I got this primarily for my 9 year old son, who is a special needs kiddo. As such, he enjoys toys that can be a little on the "young" side for him, but it can also be hit or miss. This one was a big hit for him!The cars are a little bigger for little hands to operate than hot wheels, and they're cute as a button. There's a wide variety of them, too - a Mini Cooper, double-decker bus, retro-looking Volkswagon van, etc. You get 8 of them with no duplicates, and they all are the kind where you "drive" them backwards a little and then let go to let them roll forward quickly.My son likes the plastic foldable mat that you can drive the cars on (has cute little "highways" on it, a roundabout, roads, etc.), and you also get a bunch of little signs you can use, with associated stickers, like a stop sign, signal light, gas station signs, pylons, and all sorts of other road signs. There's a lot of them in this set, and we found that there were a couple of extra signs in it that didn't have stickers to go with them...but that's OK. He made his own. :)The cars themselves are painted with vibrant colors, and they appear to be durable and well-made. The colors don't easily chip off and stay firmly in place. They're sturdy and fit in his hand very well for playing. Everything comes in a really nice clear plastic case to store them in, which is always appreciated by me. It's easy to just toss them in there when he's done playing with them, and you can easily see inside of it. The mat is very easy to clean and fold back up for storage.Overall, for the price, this is a super cute set with more unusual cars than you typically find (my favs are the baby blue Volkswagon van and the double-decker bus!). The quality is great, and more importantly, my son absolutely loves them! Super fun and cute! Two thumbs up for this one!

My 3 year old grandson is all about cars, and this car set is going to make the grade with him. The set of 8 mini cars is made of good quality alloy material, and cars are lightweight. The cars are "motorized" by pulling them back and then letting go. The detail on the cars is neat and clean. No sharp edges from cast molds, and no sloppy paint jobs. The cars you get are accurately depicted in the product pictures. The set comes with a vinyl road map that measures approximately 22 x 32 inches. The road map comes folded and doesn't lay flat easily, so I tossed mine in the dryer for about a minute to make it more pliable. Worked perfectly and it now lays flat to the floor. Heating it in the sun would also work as well. There is a set of plastic detachable road signs that come with decorative stickers. These pieces are very small. Since we also have a one year old running around, I don't think we'll put these to use. We will, however, use the stickers to decorate the plastic carry case that comes with the set. The stickers have good "stick-em" and should hold tight. The price isn't available yet on this set, but knowing what car sets cost, I would expect to pay about $20.00.
