Interesting experience
This was my first time ordering Tibetan incense. I knew upon opening my normal incense holder would be to small for these, so as soon as it came in the mail I improvised and grabbed some pliers and a glass dish to burn it horizontally. My sticks were scentless in the box, so I was immediately interested what they would smell like when burning. They pretty much smell like how you would expect if you've read any of the other reviews for this product. It's a primarily woodsy, smokey smell with a hint of spice. Obviously, anyone who buys this expecting a perfumey scent is going to be a bit disappointed if they haven't done their research on Tibetan incense. It is slow-burning and produces a light amount of smoke, which is good since the burning scent is a a bit overwhelming if you are sitting close to it.I think this is a good product for anyone who is interested in trying new kinds of incense.

Pretty good incense
Tibetan-style incense is a confusing world. None of it is actually from Tibet (mostly Nepal). Makers may or may not be ethnically Tibetan. Most are very small scale. Brands and packaging constantly change. Quality varies wildly, usually in the range of mediocre to unpleasant. In that context, Sorig has been a reliable and consistent 'good enough' brand of incense that I keep ordering.

relaxing and psychologically profound smell
At first I wanted to be angry about the incense arriving totally broken into a bunch of tiny pieces but when i lit the incense i realized it was only a small inconvenience. The incense smells great, i am more of a nag champa fan though but this smells nice. Smells a bit like vegetables cooking on a barbecue. it is a very relaxing and psychologically profound smell.
