Nalgene Polypropylene Jar (2-Ounce)

Got these for daily meds that carry in lunch box, rigid, air tight and waterproof to protect my meds

I used this container for a small amount of liquid and cotton pads. I put the container in a plastic bag for travel, but it did not leak inside the bag.

I use these for my toiletries and traveling. They're amazing.

I’ve used Nalgene bottles since 1998 after I became a Flight Attendant ✈️. During my 1st month of flying, I used a travel kit w/bottles from the drug store. Several bottles of products leaked in my luggage. I came across Nalgene and started using them. During my 23 year career they have NEVER leaked. I bought some new ones recently to add to my assortment.

Product is best in its class

I use this for travel and loading with gels, creams, etc. I use a lot of this brand and very happy with performance and no leak seal. This was just a couple dollars when I purchased just to have on hand.

I've experimented with other brands of travel bottles, and none work like Nalgene. These guys know how to build stuff that neither leaks nor breaks. I've depended on Nalgene increasingly for my travel toiletries kits. I already had a few of these 2oz wide mouths, so this purchase was an augmentation of my kit.The only Nalgene bottles that I don't use are the little eye dropper lids, because the tippy-tops pop off and stuff leaks.I use these 2oz wide mouth containers instead of reusable squeezy bottles of similar size, because those squeezy bottles take up too much room, don't really give you access to all of the goo (in my case it's usually hair stuff that's gooey,) and sometimes leak. I don't think Nalgene makes squeezy bottles. But with these wide mouth bottles, I can dump or scoop as much goo as I need with ease. The narrow-mouth Nalgenes are good for less gooey stuff, like mouthwash, that pours more easily.I did find the exact same item in a local Container Store for half the price, and I seem to remember a similarly lower price at my local REI. But I didn't have time to do the hour-or-more drive to either store when I bought this, so I figure I paid extra to have it show up at my front door. Still, if you have time and proximity to one of the places I listed above, you could pay less for a variety of little Nalgene travel bottles. If you don't live near one of those places, then you can at least know that the product you're buying will work.

I love Nalgene products! But this particular jar does not live up to the leakproof claim. I have several other Nalgene bottles and jars which are leakproof and I was expecting the same with this one. However, on the short trip from housesitting for a friend back to my apartment, this jar leaked. Thank heaven the jar wasn't full to begin with and that my trip was only 20 minutes. I'll continue to use this jar but it will have to travel in a ziplock baggie.

Like this so much, easy to clean, perfect size, I'l buy more

Ordered x2 of these but only received x1. Can't see a direct way to contact the supplier. I have other Nalgene products so I didn't need convincing that they worked, however my husband has used this to transport his balsamic vinegar to/from work and it leaks - so I'm not impressed! I wanted more of these containers as I'm travelling soon with hand luggage only and this is massively disappointing.
